Throwing Tip: Give Suzanne a really hard throw at about 10 degrees. It should climb, peak, descend, and continue gliding nicely over an extremely long distance!

Respect for the actual directions to Suzanne. I tell people all the time about the "simple" and "pro" variations. The changes really do make a world of difference. The reverse fold on the bottom of the fuselage is probably the biggest culprit; creates drag exactly where you don't need it and throws the CG a bit forward. Naturally the fact that A4 is legal for Guinness attempts is a huge boon as well. The simple version performs well, but it's pretty clear... ...this is THE Suzanne.

The plane is definitely improved without the locking fold on the bottom, which, as you said, moves the CG too far forward.

Instead of using tape to hold Down the layers at the bottom of the plane you could fold up the little flap on the plane and the layers would lock together

Briallint flyer. Best, by a longshot, that I have ever made. I modified it by folding up that loose tab to lock the center top bottom and wings in place and it flies really nicely, now i'm going to try the tape on the top to keep the wings together and see what that does. this is on 8 1/2 by 11 printing paper that i have done so far. about to experiment further

I live in Kansas and once my son but a plane in the back of our house and he put the plane on his make-shift runway and it was pretty wind that day and one day when he woke up he looked outside and saw the plane wasn't there and he went out into the backyard and he couldn't find it on the plane he put our address so he could get it back and a line for if someone had found it they could send it back well it came a few days later and it had a state on it that wasn't bordering Kansas. I can't remember where but i remember that it was not on the ocean, but it was one state away and it was on the southeastern part of the east coast, so i think that it flew further than 200 feet. (this is really and please don't hate on this it did really happen and i DON'T want comments)
