Just became a patron and probably a bit overdue. Your WR progression vids bring me so much joy- even when I have no connection with the game. They are so well done, so well researched and I can't wait to see what's next. I can tell this video took a long time to make, not to mention the research that goes into it. Seriously, keep it up. You have a gift and you're so good at this. Don't be fooled by off label 'WR Progression' vids- SummoningSalt is the master of the WR Progression vids.

Well, that's because half the time glitches are found to lower times or more official calculations (such as Zelda with drop tables). Also, the rest of the time is them thinking their run is the best possible. It's called ego, ignorance, and lack of foresight. Welcome to the human race. ;)

The community (Consisting of both VC & N64 runners) has decided several times to not split the leaderboards. Whilst no lag does give VC a severe advantage, and makes a meh VC time look better than a great N64 time, we still class it as the same game. There is also a filter function on SRC anyway which allows you to see the N64 leaderboard or the VC leaderboard for a certain category. Most N64 runners look at that for goals and where they are.

You're basically just restating the fact that they made the decision (which goes without saying), and then not elaborating. Personally, as someone not in that community, it seems like a dumb choice.
@delk1299

tails512 there are examples miles Worse. Bayonetta on PC saves 15mins alone in a 105min speedrun, yet all consoles run the same leaderboard

@@tails512 not sure what you mean by not elaborating. We have had several community votes and the result has always been the same. If you want the reason then you should ask the people who voted not to split.

The Luigineer I love that game so much. Never looked into speedrunning it, but I did a peril Mario build on my last run and it was incredible. Shadow Queen was over in the minimum turns thanks to multibounces hitting for 12 damage per jump. I love any game that has mechanics that can be relentlessly abused
