i have one cat. i’ve been using pine litter but i wanted to put “Worlds Best Litter” to the test, and so i had 2 trays out, her good old pine litter in one, and WBL in a new tray. She used the WBL IMMEDIATELY! and i had bought the lavender scented one which i regretted because i thought that she would hate it but she loves it, and she actually kinda likes to just play in it. Pine is great, i never ever smell a pee odor, BUT from what i am realizing is it’s harder for her to bury her poop with pine so she ends up doing her business and skiddadling and ik when she poops because the smell will fill the house up 💀 with WBL, she immediately buried it and the smell was nonexistent!

I am realizing this now with pine pellets. I'm not a cat person, just barely started taking care of an outdoor baby cat that has grown attached to me and became an indoor cat. I am going to switch to WBL and see how it goes. I can clean up the mess with a vacuum no problem. The problem I have is the poo smell when the pellets can't cover it >.

I switched to this litter a few weeks ago and the dust keeps ending up on part of my cat's face. I've never seen that happen with any other litter. His right eye has been teary the past few days. I believe he is allergic to this litter, though he did fine with Sustainably Yours. That litter is just too expensive for me being a low income senior. I do agree with all you said about this litter, especially that it needs to be very dry to hold the clumps. Plus there is NO urine odor!! Am going back to a local store brand wheat litter which scatters everywhere. Wish I could do KZbin videos to help support my cat. I was 40 yrs on the radio. Now I am no longer cute.😐 You are naturally talented. Keep it up.

Much appreciate this review! I had been using sWheat Scoop and just resigned myself to the bad clumping issues, but this clumped SO much better, and I can see myself no longer having to fully clean the boxes every 2 weeks (I have 4 cats). So weird, but I think you have a reincarnation of my baby Tony. He was tabby with whit socks and with those two little tabby marks on his muzzle just like Sven, and he definitely had “forbidden chocolate soup” issues - he’s the main reason I started my perfect litter hunt. It’s so striking I almost want to ask when he was born 😂. ❤ Thank you for sharing your finds!

I have used several other brands, and WBL Lavender for multiple cats has worked very well for my 2 cats. I love that it is easily flushable, & I rarely have any problems with odor control.

I’m so excited for you! Litter selection will really depend on what you and your cat will like. There is no perfect litter out there…at least not yet 😂 classic clay is a good starting point, but I tend to lean more eco friendly ones like wood or corn.

I use the unscented now, after 1 month of using the lavender 2 out the 3 cats I have developed dermatitis due to allergies to the lavender!!! They now have hair loss on their ears on top of the vet bills and and bathing them in dermatitis shampoo!!

I thought my cat was the only one who ate the corn litter. When I would clean her box she went right in and started to munch. The problem I had with this litter was bugs inside the bag because it was corn. My cats also walked around with yellow dust on their paws from WBCL. I finally couldn't stand the mess and the bugs - switched to Dr. Elsey's Ultra. Thanks for the video.

Actually, I take back my comment. I bought some for my cat, it works just fine. It doesn't really have much of a scent, but the only time it does give off a smell is when they use the bathroom and smell like wet cardboard. It's not dusty. :)

Subbed because you made me laugh so hard at the "forbidden chocolate soup". Our vet had us try different *grain free* foods when one of our newly adopted rescues had that issue. We swapped to Blue Buffalo turkey & potato and just like that, no more soup.

I wanted to really like this litter. I would love to find a good lightweight litter. The main issue I had with this is the horrible scent it gave off after a couple of weeks. It smelled like soured milk or corn. It clumped fine. The tracking wasn’t too bad for 5 cats. But each time I scooped on a daily basis I kept smelling a soured scent. It gagged me. The dust was more than I prefer also. Maybe I will try it again. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I feel like that’s the “unscented cat litter” smell. :(. I’ve had it when I tried clay unscented litter in the past. I tried World’s best for the first time yesterday and I noticed the smell on day 1 of scooping. I keep a large amount of baking soda on hand and put maybe a half cup in each box after scooping this time, and it helped absorb the smell. I’ll probably do that after every major clean and see how it goes. I recommend getting a cheap brand of baking soda from a large store (Smart & Final has a 5lb bucket that I will be getting again). i use the lavender scented one and it smells just fine, if anything the lavender smell is a little strong but it's very tolerable and i never ever smell any pee or poo because of it, the odour control is outstanding. but i mix it with green tea tofu litter which absorbs some of the lavender smell and makes the litter smell really nice surprisingly, like it's not just tolerable, i actually enjoy the smell. also the tofu litter does really well with pee while the worlds best cat litter coats the poo in powder and neutralises any smells even if not buried correctly.

I have the lavender version (my kitten doesn’t mind it) and it has eliminated all scent and my kitten makes atomic poops in her litter box, so I was so surprised it eliminated the odor so quickly.

Okay. I am using Catalyst litter made of soft wood. I like it but it doesn't clump really well. The clean litter is difficult to sift, and the clumps are hard to find. How does the World's Best stack up?

I didn’t because my litter box remained fairly clean and dry with this litter. Also the clumps didn’t break off into a lot of pieces so it helped keep the litter fairly clean. I spot cleaned areas when Sven had his forbidden chocolate soup.

Have you ever tried Integrity Clumping clay litter? Where we got our kitten (who is no longer a kitten at 1 yr & 8 months), the woman has for over a quarter of a century used that one. Our Sunny doesn't seem to have any problems with it.

We used pellets until our cat got older and started to do his poop dance beside the box and going outside it. He did the digging motion that he wanted to do with the box. He started to poop in the shower too. The pellets hurt his paws. This went on for a year. Once our vet recommended to change his litter, we changed to this litter he never had an accident again. He now digs and he never did with pellets. Different for every cat I guess

i'm watching all your videos about cl because i need to find a cl that doesn't stick to my cat's paw hair. my problem is not even the tracks everywhere, but the pain it must be for him to have sand stuck between his toes. Pretty Litter is very light. I've used it for my cat the last year. I have no problem carrying it in the house with other bags of groceries. It, of course, as its own pros and cons, but one of the nice things about it is how lightweight it is!

There is no holy grail litter lol. It all depends on your own cat, their allergies and needs, and how often you clean. Also you need the right kind of carpet so the litter tracks less.

I know this is old but I sure have. Odor control wasn't good and after a week the litter gave off a bad lingering smell. I really didn't like the tofu smell mixed with urine and poop. It was called Really Great Cat litter. It was expensive too.

No! This cat litter is the worst😤. It has absolutely no odor control and it makes the area it's placed in smell like a barn. It tracks every where and takes the pee with it onto every surface. We also received a bag with bugs. It should be named The World's Worst Cat Litter...it is so gross.

For the smell- I put about a 1/4 cup of baking soda in. It works like a charm. We recently switched our cat from arm & hammer to worlds best because the fragrance in the arm & hammer drove me nuts. This has a similar texture as it’s a corn litter.

Baking soda is super toxic for cats! Due to their smaller body size, just 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda ingested can be dangerous for a cat. While it is not toxic in nature, cat parents should still use caution keeping baking soda around the house in accessible areas. Sodium bicarbonate is a salt. Large quantities of sodium could cause electrolyte imbalances and potential health problems if left untreated. Anything cats touch with their fur, you need to think about them licking themselves.
