For map 2, they needed to teleport to the top and hit the button. The button and teleport was triggered by the tripwires.

That's what the loop was for! You go down, activate the tripwire hook that places the button and sends you back up so you can press it! But.. it wouldn't be a squid map without cheating so..

squid you just had to look up when you were falling the strings were hooked to the command block when you fall you trigger thee string and then it places the button and it tps you to the top to click it
