Ravisha Bhardwaj , Most of the early achievers fails in their real life. This is usual. Very few both won. Going to school and learning about the world just myth. Closed wall will teach the world?Currently sending school just because of everybody doing . So all of them following. By the way ten years back less choices to entertain kids apart from school. But now system changing a lot. Home schooler also have community , they have community they are socializing each other as well. Honestly to say they have more choices than regular schooler . May be growing country not yet reached that much level. Mark my words, sooner or latter that will happen aggressively for sure..

Hi, I have heard Lydian Nadhaswaram play the piano before. He has demonstrated his phenomenal technique by playing Mozart's "Turkish Rondo" and "The Flight of The Bumblebee "by Nicholas Rimsky-kosakov at great speeds. To have taken the piano for only four yours and to have developed that kind of technical virtuosity is truly astounding by any standards that the world can offer. However, my advise to him is to demonstrate the interpretative and artistic aspects of the music. This I sense that he can do naturally. Get the best professors he can find and study Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Chopin, List and Rachmaninoff etc. He may want to make a career of it. This is all up to him and how things work out, according to circumstances and prayer. LOOK AT HIS OTHER VIDEOS TO GET A REALISTIC APPRAISAL OF HIM - TRULY REMARKABLE AND UNCOMMON ABILITY. 34, 782

Message for Lydian Nadhaswaram: I am very pleased that you have an unbelievably beautiful gift. As a pianist since age 8, I like to say that you and your family must be very proud of the talent you got. Keep up with your practicing and, no matter what, the piano itself will always be your best friend. When you told your goal, my heart was beating when I thought how much my mom and I love the Moonlight Sonata! There is a very wise quote I hope you can remember. A famous pianist named Tom Lehrer said, "Life is like a piano. What you get out of it depends on how you play it." You have that kind of life and it's very wonderful. I'm sure that what lies ahead will be at the moon! I'm so, so proud of you. With respect, Ben Jenkins

To everyone commenting that he isn’t the worlds best piano player, let me explain. The title of the video is not referring to him as being the best pianist on the planet. It is referring to the fact that he got his big break playing piano on the popular new tv talent show called “The worlds best”. He is the kid who played piano on the show the worlds best, not the worlds best piano player, just wanted to clear that up!

I am amazed by his talent and dedication to his dream!! Personally, I can't wait to see him grow as the years go by. Btw for anyone who is a little negative concerning Lydian, just cut him some slack. He's 13, has dreams, and wants to continue to refine his musical talents. Even he said he wants to go to school to learn more and improve. As for the "greatest pianist" it's from the video and the channel's publicity, not necessarily a title he has personally bestowed himself (Plus they said 'World's Best' quoting the TV show where he got his fame). If you have different opinions that's fine, just don't hate or critisize a kid simply because of his talents and someone's word choice. Especially now that he has accomplished so much and has a chance to live his dreams. Also, he enjoys playing classical music, even a well known 'simple' piece such as Fur Elise. So if this talented 13 year old wants to play it for a small TV video interview, who are we to judge?

Just some insights from someone from inside the Music field: starting to play the piano at 9 is not early. It´s actually late in comparison to most classical pianists, that start usually at 3 or 4 years old. Also, practicing 5-6 hours a day is indeed a LOT. By practice he means playing. Throw on top of that Music Theory, Harmony, etc.
