The losi rock rey is what I have and it's been great so far. It's too fast for it's own good sometimes though. I've broke a lot of stuff in it but some of that was my own fault due to upgrading certain parts which created a weak point elsewhere

OK, even those of us who don't usually do ground vehicles might be into this one! If it will slowdown and crawl, hills and water and all, and speed up and bash...we like it. The wild turkeys are a huge bonus!

Absolutely!! It's one of the most well rounded ground vehicles I've come across. Very quickly climbing to the top of my all time favorites in both appearance and performance. A huge win in our books! Check out the red cat KZbin page they have been doing a lot of upgrades to this vehicle. if you haven't checked out their page in the past it is a very good place to see exactly how to install all of your Redcat upgrades on your vehicles they do tons of cool stuff and it is the Redcat owned page it's RCU.

@@rc-hunters6831To be honest, i been beating it up quite a bit. i've had to replace and fix turnbuckles, links and drive shafts. Nothing i don't mind doing. If you like to tinker, its great. As for ripping around, you gotta be on the controls constantly. So it's very much a drivers rc. I've been having a blast with it.

I do love that VRX, still have it. Unfortunately it broke in our first bashing video, pretty early on. I have since ordered and gotten metal upgrade parts to repair it, just havent prioritized it yet. So far, Redcat wins 👍⚓😃

The links in rear are called trailing link ,its purpose is to keep axel straight to frame . It is not a sway bar as you see the truck leans alot when you turn .a sway bar stops that from happening or at least minimize it. I really hope this helps you .great truck and love your videos, keep up the honest way you guys do it, very appreciative of what you do .

I have a Dromida Backbone, which is similar to this one, and it leans like that, too, sometimes it flips completely, it came with an 1800mah 2s battery and charger for $180 (usually $199, but it was on black friday). It's bot super fast but definitely fun to drive.

Hey. I got a HSP Verdikt (1/8 EP Rear Portal Axle DESERT (NO.:94991), which i have found to be the 99% same vehicle as the Redcat Camo x4. Its a great car, but the throttle control on my HSP are a little "rough", in the sense that it is difficult to drive slow and controlled. Also the reverse is a bit moody, i can push the throttle 1-10 times before it reacts. Is the Redcat controller nice and "manageable"? Have you experienced any issues?

The redcat website for parts is hard to find what you need and overpriced... had about a 20 $ part and like 80 bucks for 2 day shipping lol went to a different website got the same part for like 15 and a 11 dallar 2 day shipping charge...

Hey Nate, does your Camo have like super soft suspension? I've threaded my shocks all the way down and it's still too soft. I'm thinking of putting some heavier weight shock oil in it, but not sure what weight will be the best for it. I have a full bottle of 60 weight and 25 weight but am wondering if the 60 will be too heavy and 25 not heavy enough. Any advice will be appreciated!

I am trying to send some support your way and sat through over 7 min of ads at the beginning of this vid. At minimum wage over $7/hr and sitting for over 1/10 an hour watching commercials before I can get to your video, then you should have earned $1 right? I know that KZbin doesn't work that way, but it would sure be nice to have some transparency in what my time is worth to them and you as the commercials keep getting longer and longer and the ads in between videos have no idea who I am supporting... Those are not sway bars. Sway bars would actually stop , lessen body roll or the truck from leaning in the turns. Those are cantilever assisted shocks for maximum shock travel and tire articulation to help get over huge obstacles. Love the content keep up the great videos.

It is a good looking buggy that handles the rough stuff well. Just lower the back by 2mm, it would look good with front and rear LED light bars there is a scale light bar for this style four light rear and a straight white light bar at the front. A sound system would be good the lights are classified for Ultra 4 buggies orange red blue at the back.

It's called body roll where the car leans two the opposite way your turning for instance if your turning left the weight will transfer two the right and two the left if you go right which is way it will roll the opposite way your turning

While I like the bashing spot I think you guys should look for a more dirt mound spot, instead of that rock pile. Those rocks can be really gnarly on your suspension.

Take the camo x4 to the same spot as the axial yeti after 3 years video. Take the yeti too and run them both. That spot hasn’t been used in a while and looks like it would show off the abilities of the Camo x4.

Yes, I do agree with that. However it's not something that takes too awfully long to get used to. I'd say almost anyone could run this well rounded vehicle, no problem. Just takes a minute to switch my brain gears from SCT and Monster Truck, to this style 👍⚓😃

Yes, 100%. It is recommended that the ESC fan be upgraded, but all of the truck electronics can easily handle 3S (says in the instructions) 😉👍⚓😃

Hair dryer wont get all the water out and it takes way too long. Try using an electric dust blower. I use my Xpower and it is almost as good as using an air compressor.
