I believe the Dungeon in the Armors Store is an actual dungeon or the entrance to one. Very common in that region. In Bayreuth were I live half the city has a dungeon beyond it with onyl a few places being able to enter the whole thing. :) My favourite Bar the Folie Douce in Bayreuth is basically in the dungeon and she has an entrance technically, but you cant go in there anymore. The brewerie has open entrances to miles of dungeon below the city PS: I will never get the Snowball Dough things :D Some people like em, but its just dough. Considering germanys great bakerys I dunno why thos became a thing

I'm glad that you like my home country so much ^^ What I noticed particularly positively: the lowering of the volume when speaking! As a German, I find that extremely pleasant and respectful - and that stands in very positive contrast to many other tourists I have experienced so far! Great video, thanks for that; and many greetings from the north of Germany ^^

Oh thank you - this is a reference to an old Disney cartoon set in a beautiful fairytale land that looks like so many beautiful places in Germany. ☺

@6:43 "Der Weinort Dertingen grüßt seine Gäste" - The wine-village Dertingen welcomes its guests. @9:30 looks more like it's empty (see the water line on the hull; the draft is more like 1.6m; typical draft of a vessel of this type is somewhere around 2.6m when fully laden, as the Rhine-Main-Danube route supports up to a maximum of 2.7m). But yes it's a bulk carrier, so it would carry goods like rock, coal, or grain. This vessel in particular is 110m long an 12m wide, which are also the maximum dimensions allowed on the Main-Danube canal.

Yeah and 3 weeks later was the Dertinger Weinfest. And the run in the Driver-pee-field to Kembach

@@Zino027 it's fun... we're actually quoting the Top Gear polar exploration episode where one of the Scandinavian guides is quoting Borat... so it's layered! 😊

Great you liked the landscape I grew up. Just some comments. Perhaps you have looked it up but the Main is part of the Rhein-Main-Donau channel which connects northern Europe with southern Europe down to the black sea in Romania. That is why there are so big ships on it now (not when I was young). The sign at the village entrance stated that the "Weindorf" or "wine village" greets its guests. Thanks for that nice video.

I'm glad you loved this historical place in my home country. From an American perspective, it might be weird, but the dungeon has been there for centuries, and the souvenir shop has been built in the historic building much later. We even surpassed Americans in capitalism. This is entry AND exit through the shop. 😂

Der Weinort Dertingen grüßt seine Gäste. Dettingen, the place of vinyards, welcomes its guests. The old German letters are not ez to read, I know.
