The fact is that eunuchs and the "transgender" community in Asia has been celebrated for thousands of years. But modern cultures and modern understandings have led to so much rife and abuse, especially homophobic abuse. I know a few cases of transgender humans seeking asylum because they were abused by police for the offence of homosexual indecency. India doesn't get a cookie for suddenly being able to finally legalize homosexuality in their country, that so openly celebrates all forms of human life, but it's still very interesting to listen/watch. Edit: And they still haven't tried to legalize same sex marriage, still a lot of work to do.

Instead of using random quotes from the Bible, perhaps we can, as they say, put ourselves in someone else's shoes. Empathy toward your fellow human and understanding is the teaching of Jesus. People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. This simply means we are all sinners and have absolutely no right to judge anyone unless you think you are God himself. It is not for you or I as an individual under the beautiful umbrella of God to judge anyone... that is for the Almighty to decide. And the Almighty loves everyone...judgement of others is Hell on its own... think about it. And these beautiful people have the same right to live the way they choose as you do...the right given by God... not you, not me. Treat others as you want to be treated. This isn't just the message of Jesus. This is an ancient message handed down from several ancient religions and cultures. Think about this...Do you want to be hounded, beaten, and judged about your life and your beliefs? No? Then what gives you the right? Think about it. May God bless and keep these brave and beautiful trans gender souls. Hell is being mistreated, misunderstood ❤️ but Hell is also causing mistreatment and misunderstanding. May God bless all of us sinners, and may He have mercy on ALL of us, including you and me. Love yourself and love others as God loves you... with patience and understanding...that is all there is.

@dorminhocasonhadora8944 Жыл бұрын
Correct! 😀 If you love Jesus you also love people and animals too. You have empathy. Jesus is stronger and more courageous than all of us combined. He could hate all people if he wanted but he loves people, understands them because he's suffered everything we've suffered. You never know what someone else has been through, what they've felt, experienced, what their genetics are, their family backgrounds, their problems. Each time you really get to know someone you'll be amazed how much More there is under what you see. I believe every person is here with specific problems to work through and specific talents to enjoy and share with others. Only God knows what they are. If you want to condemn someone condemn yourself first. What's wrong with you that you aren't willing to see the good in someone? If you think someone's wrong but they're humble, kind, generous, accepting and actively helping the people around them, sharing what little food and clothing they have, sharing their shelter, carrying buckets of water day after day after day so others can drink, cooking food for them, staying up with them at night during sickness, cheering them up, making them laugh, drying their tears... If you want to condemn someone what can you learn from them to make yourself better? Jesus says be like a child. That's because children see the kindness in people above all else, like animals do too. Besides it's good for your own soul. What a relief to know we don't have to judge anyone! Jesus can do that on his own time. He's said so. All we have to do is love people. Which means we get to enjoy them as they are without worrying about it. If you want to save someone be the best you. Save yourself first. Learn from others, listen to others, care about others, enjoy other people and you'll each be able to share what's good in you with the other. Hate doesn't have a reason to exist.

In the Hindu epic Mahabharata, Arjuna assumed the name Brihannala when he was disguised as a female dance teacher in Virata's kingdom during the Pandavas' period of exile. In the Mahabharata, when Ila, the daughter of Chandra (the moon god), transformed into a man every alternate month, her male name was Sudyumna. During the female phase, she retained the name Ila. This transformation was the result of a curse placed upon her by Lord Shiva. Shikhandi was born as the daughter of King Drupada, the ruler of Panchala. However, upon her birth, it was prophesied that she would be the cause of her father's enemy's death. Fearing this, her father sought to raise her as a son. As Shikhandi grew older, she was engaged to marry a princess named Amba. However, Amba had been previously rejected by Bhishma, an avowed celibate, which caused her great anguish. Amba sought revenge and performed severe penance to Lord Shiva, who granted her a boon that she would be the cause of Bhishma's death in a future life.Amba was reborn as Shikhandi, now a male, and played a significant role in the Kurukshetra war.

They were crying in the end because the god they were married to was dead. So, they became his widowed. Now, widowhood in India is considered to be inauspicious. With widowhood comes, losing lots of things including loss of colour in once life. In India, married women are suppose to wear color full sarees and bangles. she can wear Bindis (Red dot on your fore head) and vermilion powder on her forehead and talli (which is the sign of being married). Once you get widow, you lose all those things and you cant wear them again in your life time till your remarry. So, losing of colour in our life is what they mourn.

Their society at large does NOT want to hire them , so , they resort to prostitution as a means to keep food in their bellies . It doesn't matter what country or how much make up and gold you dress it up in....it's still a guy. It's still a guy clapping hands and singing songs. I thought India would be even less tolerant that the US. I stand corrected.

All old civilizations have come to grips with the reality of creation and have given room (as much as they could) for them to fulfill their lives. Countries like America are not matured civilizations, that do not properly understand the “gray shades” of the world and deal with it.

Imagine descendants now making up 7.8 billion people all and have always known about same sex attraction ,its incredible that these stories have been passed down, in the same global breath as the tragedy that was King Louis and his gay lovers. It's wild.

@@ms.martiegallego8834 There are some who do not wear deodorant here in America. And that is there choice. You find it offensive because thats the culture and society you grew up in. Those who don't wear it, there could be many reason as to why they do not. Idk why you would add a heart after that but, yeah.

@@JohnyBoy_1 I agree that the discrimination of trans people is much worse in India; however, there are hateful small minded people in the US as well.
