I'm assuming this is Mrs Hunicke. Thank you for sharing your hubby and his valuable time with us..both in his content and his trip to the convention. In large part I have he and his content to credit for my entrance and evolution in tree work after being retired for almost 7 years. BTW....not sure if you attended...but you must come next year...myself and my buddy will be bringing our wives (why not it's a warmer place) and ya'll can go explore together, while we all grunt about tree stuff. All the best and God bless the Hunicke family.

Bunch of tidbits in my mind from this video! Saw that "Big Dog" truck at the beginning and wondered why it sounded familiar, then I saw the phone number. Oh, they're my locals... That Exhibit Hall sure looks a lot different from when I was there for GenCon in 2019... Next Expo is in Charlotte? That's not far at all. I may have to go, even though I'm not in the industry; just a starting hobby climber only... But then, I'm 48 and if that other guy started working in tree climbing at 52, maybe this beginning hobby climber is at the top of a slippery slope? No bacon?! Aw man we were getting along so well together... But seriously, just kidding with you on that. I saw your other reply about your healthy diet.

the red tracked lift is a godsend . They fit in tight areas like hotel pools to trim palm trees, back yards with limited access , through a decent gate etc. and your not forced to climb rotten trees .I also find them great for trimming in commercial parking lots that are crowded . It runs on a small engine and is easy to load on a trailer and tow with a 3/4 ton… hell you could tow it with a modern 1/2 ton.

That Kershaw giraffe thing is called a skytrim. Some rail companies use modified versions with rail wheels to trim trees along the right-of-way. I once saw one in action cutting limbs and was surprised at how wiggly the boom is, not even at full extension. Fascinating machine.
