Guys I just want to say thank you so much for your support and coming out to the show. It was such a wild experience, and I loved sharing it with you guys. Not just did we set a record for the biggest fan catch & cook in the world, but we also had the two busiest seminars at the show. That being said, I heard that not everyone was able to fit into the rooms at one point, and I know that I missed meeting some of you. Hey Leif! I was the one with the German Camo pattern with my family and son in the wheelchair! We made the trip up from Vancouver to that show JUST to see you. Made my son and I happy. I mean it when I say this, whenever you release a new video, we sit down as a family to watch whatever adventure you’re on. My fiancé family has friends that always want to fish with me because I do a lot of Blue Line fishing, but I always tell her that you’re the only person I’d ever like to fish with! Man I wanted to get a photo with you and to pick your mind about what I could do more with my channel! I was there when it opened on Saturday. I thought maybe you had a booth so my wife and kids tried finding you. Then I didn't even know the mini river in the back of the building until someone said they are doing classes. That's when I found the area you were doing your classes and saw your class was at 4pm. and that was at 12:30pm. My wife couldn't stay that long because she has that nasty cancer (3rd time) so we had to get home so she can rest! Hopefully one day we meet so until then watching your awesome videos will have to do! Fish on and tight lines my friend!

Of course now you go haha! I worked at the trout hatchery down the road from the fair for 3 years. Planted trout all over King and Thurston county lakes, and volunteered my time with the Kid's Fishin' pond at the fair every year. I still have photos on my Facebook page of throwing fish from the planting truck into the fishing ponds. 😃

When i was a kid there was a pool closing down to rebuild. Before they tore the building down to rebuild it they filled the kiddy pool for us to catch a trout, among other festivities. This video has unlocked a childhood memory. Also you need to know, never season a grill with a oil that has a low smoke temp. Especially if it has bits of garlic in it lol.

Hey Leif, it’s great to see such a positive fan interaction:) Being from Denmark, i mostly fish for pike and as far as i understand, northern pike have been introduced to parts of Washington state, so i would absolutely love to see something like that! Alternatively, if you ever decide to visit home, i’m sure you are well aware that Germany has some fantastic pike fishing (and while you’re at it, might as well visit your northern neighbor and stock up some more of those tasty rocks hehe)
