I daily mine. It’s fun whipping it out. They say it isn’t practical but it is fun. The leather belt holster is actually perfect for it. I thought getting the kydex holster would be better but I’m happy with the the leather.

Huh? You can deploy, use and return without your hand ever entering the blade path, like an OTF, which were originally "safety knives". Far less dangerous than any out the side design.

The original without the lock is the best. I have this knife and I carry it in my pocket without a case and use it. It has never opened in the pocket, although people comment and say it couldn't be carried that way. Blade is holding up to everyday use. I bought a special edition version that was just under 400, I'm going to use this every day until I break it then buy another Reate. Get one
