DriftSquid the R34 is the COOLER car (evo’s stopped being cool at evo 9) and if someone said you can have any GTR vs any model evo then I’d take a GTR (dream car). However powertune went next level on the evo!! I recently purchased a car built by powertune and it’s a monster and no where near this next level build. They certainly are a workshop that can hold their own on the world stage

The only thing I hate about the evo x is where the paddle shifters are mounted. You turn the wheel 10 degrees and you can’t reach the paddles smh lovely work tho !!

Reverse is holding the left lever for a certain amount of time when its in neutral. Yes there is a clutch pedal for take off.

You should get Chea to take you in the Evo 8 mr or 9 its Red, they built that has the same Paddle shifted Holinger setup in it, to compare the pro's / con's the 9 is more then likely to feel more brutal,

Its air shifted gear changer. So may sound like the clutch is popping but its the Pneumatic system. Save up and buy a complete car from Powertune. Get them to send it over ;)

Hollinger sequential gearbox and it has no clutch pedal, and an automatic mode?? 😮😲🤯🤯 Umm, never mind, saw the clutch pedal. Still, I'm amazed at the way it has an auto mode with a manual gearbox. I wish I could do the same with my Veloster with its normal torque converter auto with that has the paddle shifts. Just an amazing effort by PowerTune. 👍

jake would u stop talking up motec as the only company that does what u say. I priced up motec to replace my haltech and to pay 7k for hardware then cop a bill of 2.5k for software to run the motec is a joke. Haltech might not support every modle car yet but at least they can and will update and advance there software for free. There's heaps of after market ecu's that support the CAN system OEM. Jake can u tell us whats the dash is worth so ur viewers know what there looking at if they try to follow motec systems. The rest of us normal people cant justify 2-3 grand on software. Motec are like apple. U pay for software not hardware. luv that evo by the way

+Jays22b hey mate. Www.powertune.com.au Like i repeat a couple times. If you want prices they are all on the powertune website. Everything including what comes with the ECU. I've said in other videos that there are heaps of good ECU's in the market. But after dealing with Motec I will not use anything else in my own cars. Their product and service is the best in the business. I've always told my followers to get what ever ECU their tuner wants you to get. They are the ones who program it so make sure they understand the ECU they are going to use on your car. Don't put yourself in another category mate compared to myself, we are all the same and we can all save up and afford what ever we want If you sacrifice. If you build a 40k+ engine why wouldn't you want to protect it with 10k of electronics? My RBM3 is proof that the motec will save you 10's of thousands of dollars. At the end of the day you have to weigh it all up.
