World's Fastest Scooters Going WAY TOO FAST!

The next generation of motorcycle drag racers is certainly a bit different and to drive that home we found a team that put nitrous oxide on a small scooter and eclipsed 100 mph in just 600 feet at the 4K Cycles Drag Survival from Showtime Speedway in Pinellas Park, Florida. We take a close look at how the sport of drag bike racing is changing as we show you a Scooter with a jet ski engine, ridiculously fast, two-stroke Banshee drag racign quads, lot s of Yamaha MT07s and MT09 and one team led by Raul Gonzalez of 4K Cycles who put a MT07 engine in a Suzuki DRZ chassis. We catch up with an older motorcycle drag racing on a Kawasaki H2 750 two stroke triple to get his take on how the new generation is chancing the face of the motorcycle industry and the sport. Of course we will also see some of the more common Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki ZX-14 and GSXR 1000s entries in this wild and crazy motorcycle extravaganza.

I’m all for it. If it’s got an engine and its built up for racing then I love it whether it’s a prostock bike, et bike or a fast Grom. I’ve raced bar bikes and streetbike shootout bikes and now I’m actually building a scooter myself. They are incredibly fun and I think the biggest allure or attraction is the parts are dirt cheap compared to big 4 cylinder stuff. I can build a whole kick ass motor for around $1000-1500. It takes 10k to build a busa motor by the time you put a crank, rods and big block etc etc in it. I’m actually working on standalone fuel injecting a hybrid kymco/Yamaha Zuma/gy6 Frankenstein engine and if the crank will hold it I’m gonna shoot it full of dope too!

I built a yamaha vino with A 70CC airsal T6 kit, carburetor upgrade, gearing uograde, technomoto variator And Leo Vinci touring Pipe for torque. And it pulled strong all the way off the line to 90 miles an hour. I also had to switch to telescopic forks for stability. People freaked on I 25 when I passed cars doing 70 on a vino. 😅
