Just want to clarify that: I believe, after more testing, the WMD does go consistently farther than my other discs when thrown with the right power/angle combination.

Great video Caleb - awesome work. I'm thinking also because it's 190 grams you're sacrificing distance. Remember lighter discs fly further but less reliably

Yeah, I was hoping maybe eventually they'll find a way to make a lightweight one. I think that would be cool to compare against the heavier one and see how much farther it would go, seeing as that's pretty much the entire point of this disc. Good insight.

You’ll get a lot more distance if you coil your upper body. You’re turning your whole body away from the target in your backswing. You want to rotate your shoulders away from the target, but keep the hips more squared off to the side. I gained 75 feet in one day once I realized power is all about the separation between your hips and shoulders

Video just popped on my feed. Great approach. Liked and subscribed. 10 min. is good length. Short, to the point and loved that you followed each shot with donut so flight could be watched. Would like same approach videos comparing 3 speed, 4 speed, etc. Also would like you to do comparison of discs weighing 155-165. Also discs with higher turn numbers. Thanks!

the disc isn't legal in case anyone's wandering. the max is 14.5 , MVP and Axiom make them. they're 24.5mm safely under the 25mm max rim width. I wish they were legal, I'd use an 18 speed at 163grams if I could...

My only concern is with the Wraith it didnt ever seem to get the turn on it that the others were allowed to have. But that said, well done video! Can't wait to get my hands on the wmd!

Great video! I have never tried the excite but the teleport is my max distance forehand disc and it's great

I think I would definitely prefer the Teleport due to the fact that it's slightly smaller rim thickness, and it has a little bit more dome. Glad you liked the video!

Nice arm, guy! Also, great way to review the discs - I get triggered so hard by people who throw a disc once (and throw other discs once) and draw conclusions off that single comparison. I think I'll be sticking with the Rive though, because disc is always going to be easy to buy (especially if I want 5 or 10 to train), I love lat64 plastic, and I really like supporting lat64 in general. I also appreciate being able to switch to the Rive Pro in the wind without changing much about my grip or throw.

You should check out the other discs they have. Sans the frag and landmine cause everyone knows about those by now. But the sneaky ones like the Famine and Dystopia. Favorite disc they have by far is the Blackout.

It would be interesting to see a "blizzard" version of this disc at 175 grams, thrown by an elite distance thrower like Simon, Eagle, AB etc.

Interesting concept. Maybe Drew Gibson? He has a YT channel and is allowed to throw any discs he wants. I guess first they need to make that blizzard version though. On a different note, I don’t even know if a true power thrower could even get a flight out of it. I have pretty good power and if I didn’t put this 190 gram disc on heavy hyzer, it would turn over and cut roll every time.

I believe there are only 3 legitimate discs that are 15 speed +, and the other two are discontinued. It was really hard to get my hands on one until this disc came out!

Profile looks super close to a Discraft Scorch

I just looked at my Scorch to compare them. The top half of both discs (parting line up) is pretty much identical. The rim angle varies just slightly. The WMD's rim is completely flat, while the Scorch has a very small angle. Based on what I know about both discs, I'd say that tiny angle is what makes the Scorch a little more overstable. They do have really close profiles for sure.

its a 15 speed and, you might want to check whether it's legal, mvp and Axiom are the only disc makers pushing the 2.5mm rim size to the max at a consistent 2.45 rim width. The Missilim unsuccessfully tried to be exactly 2.5 I imagine, and Latitude stopped making them because of it. I don't know what speed 16 is but it's not legal

So this company is really good at role-playing, all of their team members and owners have aliases and they try to create as much mystery and intrigue as possible. It’s all just part of their marketing strategy. They did have team members vote on what they thought the flight numbers should be but it never got an official rating as far as I know. Infinite Discs says it’s a 16 speed, 3 glide, -2 turn, 3 fade. I gotta say I think it’s waaaay more flippy than that when thrown at high speeds.
