Yeah, and in 10 years you will have a boat anchor (pun intended) that has little or no resale value because of the high cost of battery replacement (not to mention the inevitable high disposal fee for the old batteries). Compare that with the retained value of a 10 year old Nautique with a traditional internal combustion engine.

So, electricity is free? And when the batteries need to be replaced they don’t cost anything? 4 hours to charge for a couple of hours of use? What a joke…!

Bear in mind that 2 hours use= 8 slalom sets. Plenty for recreational / family use..

OK. You get to use the boat for 2 hours before you have to recharge it for FOUR hours.

For now anyway I will take my 351 pcm in my mastercraft prostar 205 It sounds sick and I love it. Will run all damn day. For the cost of an electric boat Yes Its gas for ten years So whats the difference?

"a couple of hours" Does it really only last for two hours on a charge? Sounds like super chargers at the marina are needed before this can really work.

This one did... but this is almost 10 years ago. The new ones Nautique is working on now have far more advanced battery tech

Wouldn't purchase one in a million years . Imagine u r out on the lake or river & u run out of Battery 🔋 Throw the power cord please 🙏 Nothing beats a V8 or outboard ever . 🤔

Electric stuff is lame as fuck. “It’s like paying for the gas for 10 years”. Bull shit. It’s a $20,000 bill every 5 years. Batteries are terrible and won’t really be efficient for another 20-30 years.

Batteries hate moisture especially with salt. Batteries will get more power packed in them which mean bigger explosions. Andy maple was broker and took his life playing a dying sport.
