You can make a coin sorter the same way. Nice vid!

Thanks! I have made coin sorters using this setup on this channel before, but simpler because coins don’t have teeth.

Any reason you didn't have openings for the (double) bevel gears? (12, 20, 28, 36 tooth)?
@LegoTechnicsRule3 жыл бұрын
It would have made the machine twice as long, which isn’t really an issue to be honest. The real reason that the normal gears had easily achievable opening sizes. 1.5 studs for the 8 tooth. 2.5 studs for the 16 tooth. 3.5 for the 24 tooth. 5.5 for the 40 tooth. If I were to incorporate the bevel gears, I would need to find some kind of illegal building technique to achieve those odd sized gaps.

I do not have any Lego gears or axles for that matter. I know some people sell them on eBay, but they are insanely overpriced.

is ti just me or did one fall into the other slot at 47 sec into the vid

One actually did make it through. Those 8 tooth gears gave me a big issue when making this machine.

Hi, I'm also just starting out with the Lego KZbin thingy, I've subscribed to you cus I've got your video recommended and I was thinking what would you say about mine, I think u have a bit more experience than me already, thanks and cool video btw, I'd just upgrade the lighting to a softer option

I just checked out your channel. Your car wheel testing videos are great but... Hear me out. Things got a bit fishy in the toilet paper wheels video. Toilet paper wheels soaked in flammable liquid is pushing it a bit, it’s not too bad. The making a sandwich with power tools was amusing, cutting bread with a sawzall and stuff, but you are approaching the danger zone fast. Also, videos like that don’t belong on a LEGO channel. I tried uploading non LEGO content in the past and all my stats went down. Now the firecracker video. It greatly pained me to watch that, and I mean GREATLY. Taking apart Lego sets is one thing, but potentially destroying pieces severely perturbed me. Furthermore, you used a relatively large firecracker INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!? That’s not only incredibly stupid, but is probably against KZbin’s community guidelines. You risked turning LEGO pieces into shrapnel and possibly blowing out the nearby window with the shockwave. Now don’t get me wrong, I love explosions, just in the right place and in a controlled manner. If that was fake, you have successfully fooled me. Now all of this may come out as harsh, but I am in no place to judge. These are simply observations. I recommend you remove that firecracker video just in case it gets a community guidelines strike that might impact your ability to monetize later on. All in all, your LEGO car wheel experiment videos are great, but your two most recent videos probably need to be reconsidered. Edit: The community guidelines section the firecracker video might violate is “Harmful or dangerous acts.” I hope this helps, LTR

@@LegoTechnicsRule Thx for the angle, i dont think the firecracker will be against community guidelines like, i have not set the videos as "made for kids" so i think it's fine, but about the non lego stuff, yeah that i've felt on my own cus i had other 10 vids and none of them made views because overall i was making too diverse things, i need to niche down so i'll stick with lego

I probably could’ve used pulleys if I thought of that beforehand.
