That anti-seizing mechanism is genius. That would have been so helpful on my fire-fighting aracde game.

Thanks! I could have used a simple clutch gear, but it’s slip torque was too high and something would go boom boom.

Very nice! So many awesome techniques in one build 🙂. Separator lever activator is quite the tongue twister, the last one that gave me trouble was "TrixBrix switch tracks", They look so easy to say on paper 😅

Gonna be honest, I'm actually a little surprised that the "beating" heart works as well as it does without developing any cumulative error. It relies on the red ring engaging the dark grey gear with a precision of 1/4 rotation. If it ever missed, it would not auto-correct, and the synchronization would be off forever. For that kind of intermittent motion, I probably would have used a Geneva drive or something. But hey if it works, then it works! The ratchet is definitely an interesting solution.
@LegoTechnicsRule2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the ratchet stops the rotational tension from rotating the dark gray gear backwards, potentially throwing off the driving ring. A Geneva drive would have worked great, still with a ratchet, but I tend to overcomplicate things but the overcomplication makes things more interesting! Thanks for the kind words and ideas!

How do you connect power functions to a 9V train controller ?
@LegoTechnicsRule2 жыл бұрын
With these. They have since been discontinued but you can find them on eBay. www.lego.com/en-us/product/lego-power-functions-extension-wire-8886

Will it work with technic bricks?
@LegoTechnicsRule Жыл бұрын
Technic bricks are 1x bricks. I haven’t tested those in this thing, so I can’t really answer that question. This was designed with 2x bricks in mind, so if I had to guess, they wouldn’t sort through correctly.
@shrekenthusiast87032 жыл бұрын
Wow! Can you do one for different axles and gears? Shouldnt be too difficult.
@LegoTechnicsRule2 жыл бұрын
I have already made a sorter for gears, and the round nature of them made them insanely hard to sort, but somehow I was able to find a way to do it. See here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4WcnXSreLWYqbM

Hello have you got any instructions available for this please?
@LegoTechnicsRule6 ай бұрын
I don’t for this machine. The reason is that it’s just so big and instructions for something like it would be very unconventional to make.
