So this may be the best proof of superconductivity we can get this early. A diamagnetic can't levitate and pin in place over a single regular dipole magnet like this, only a superconductor can.It can't be some other super chilled superconductor because it's small and would warm up super quick while showing gas evaporating off. It's a 1 Dimensional superconductor which is why it realigns like that each time.Right now the samples being made aren't internally pure enough to show zero resistance across the whole thing. There's domains of superconductivity mixed in with other junk so getting zero resistance across the whole thing is hard. But getting enough superconducting purity to levitate is possible. I feel like eventually with enough attempts or a refined process to make a crazy pure sample we can get that zero resistance measurement.
