It's basically an airplane that died and was reincarnated as a car. You can see it in the ribbed split window, the long body, the way the doors work, the tubular frame steel frame with the panels wrapped around it, and the airtight sealing. Did I mention that the aerodynamic styling is also a dead giveaway?

Very impressed with Ron's collection. Love the Lincoln Zephyr we see. The Stout definitely has the internal design aesthetics of a 1930s aircraft. I noticed it has a South Wind gasoline heater hanging under the dash. That thing burned gasoline by tapping into the intake manifold below the carb. It was on or off. 'On' soon made the rubber floor mat get hot and start smoking. Turning it off was the answer! It severely reduced MPG! but was instant on and really poured out the heat which was great in frigid central PA!
