I was a regular at Sears Point and Laguna Seca in the 80's and well remember the GTP cars. That was before the rulebook reigned them in. The were exceptionally fast.

Beautiful 67 Charger. So much more style and class than 68-74 Chargers by far. Solidly built and quality was put in all 66-67 mopar B-bodies. 👍

I had a metalshop teacher who put a small block Chevy into a Pinto. The first time he punched the gas, he spun the rear tires off the rims.

Interior has all the mod cons no expense spared on the use of wood screws and duct tape. The dials and switches labled in sharpie is the chefs kiss. 😆😁

I’m in love with power wagons…what really sets that vintage period are those budd wheels. Two easy questions….what Is the budd hole spacing? And are budd centers hard to find with the cut outs ? My budds lack the cutouts and are 6 on 7 1/4 for the international travel all.

Thanks, DENNIS & Team: great overview & Work….Interestingly, always reminded that seeing Superbird, in Spring 1970( just Graduating Purdue*& , Car Hunting), parked in downtown Lafayette, Indiana : figured NOT for Me , as WAY to long, Garish(!!): buying a 1970 CORONET 500 loaded/383….in late Summer 1970….Interestingly, the FORD DEALER could not let me , take Home [Over night] a BOSS 302 test Drive then, as I was unsure AbOUT BOSS driving etc. The MOPAR DEALER had a DART GS 340( DISCS,tuned, pursuit.?.), we took overnight, but ALL GREEN,& 4 Door not our / My Liking.( oddly that DART was a hand,ing ,QUICK Machine).

I traveled the U.S., wrenching on wind turbines for close to 12 years (I teach wind energy now) but I spent a year total in Kansas. I stayed in nearby Salina, Kansas, and commuted to Concordia. I've known of this school, and it's restoration program for years now. I've been to MacPherson a few times. I'm a Southern California native/resident

Funny, Always loved Mustangs. Had a 65 , a 65 Fastback and a 70 302. Subscribed to Mustang Monthly mag back in the day, One day Joe Oros shows up on the cover as the designer on the 64 1/2, I was like WHAT? This guy has the same last name as me, and wait...he's from Cleveland Ohio. My dad was from that area, Same last name! "Hey dad,,, who is Joe Oros is he related?" Oh yeah he's such n such's kid. So... Related to Joe somehow. Wonder if he had anything in a garage he wants to give to a relative. hahahaha

Anybody watching this in 2025 be sure to check out the videos on the 71 boss 302 that Bob has uncovered. You will also see many of the same cars in the exact same condition still in his collection.

We're working on it. There's just so much great stuff that never made it to air because of the constraints of TV, but with over 500 original episodes, this could take a while. Not sure we'll live long enough to get to them all tho.
@CoastalAutoReactionCAR3 күн бұрын
@ oh, I know all about the TV. Constraints were part of the rust valley restorers team now branching out and hopefully past the constraints of networks and producers. We’d love to do something with Dennis by the way, and if there’s anything we can do to help get more views onto my classic car we will be doing it.

I have to say it always boggles my mind and drives me crazy when random people walk up start leaning over, looking at the interior, or just generally being in the way when Dennis is trying to do a segment about somebody’s car?! tHey lets just wander in completely oblivious ruining the shot!! But Dennis never misses a beat! How do people not notice the man’s trying to work give him some space and time then look at the car!

It used to drive me nuts too. Now we just roll with it. 🤷♂️
