WBC Skier Profile on the 4x Open World Champion, David Small. Dave is Co-owner of the World Barefoot Center, one of the greatest barefoot waterskiers on this planet, and is originally from England, now living in Winter Haven, FL. He holds more Overall World Titles than any other skier in the history of the sport, and also had held the Jump and Tricks World Record.

I sat through his class at Think Tank this past weekend. What an awesome guy and amazing teacher. I cant wait until summer to practice some of the techniques he taught. Until then I'll just study his videos and and notes.

What an amazing guy competitor and teacher. Truly a class act! I will say this and still laugh about it today. That Jump in the video was mine here in Atlanta Georgia.So David an I made a super reasonable deal due to my love for the sport and the years I competed, He show's up one Saturday or Sunday morning just him and his dog with a trailer I wouldn't haul yard scraps off with. We loaded that jump on that trailer hanging off every side it could. So I think that took more guts to drag all the way back to Winter Haven Florida than jumping. He's clearly fearless that day I thought he had taken a bad fall skiing and lost his mind. David I'm glad to see you and Keith and many others are getting the use from the jump. Keep your toes up and keep flying higher my friend. You still owe me a couple tow's behind the boat if I ever can get down that way. Maybe in the fall.

i am a single slalom skier and have had 1 on 1 training from nz champ i am only 11 but i the bare footing AS WELL

How rough does the watervhave to getvbefore you cant actually "bare foot " and i say thatvbecausecim sure you can body ski in some pretty rough water. But how rough does the water have to be until you cant acually stand on your bare feet and ski
