about $40 in propane to keep it hot for maybe 4 hours and do the 3-4 things in this video. I think you have to have something around the knife to keep the heat in. but maybe it's possible to attach the forge to the knife and have it actuated in some way? Would probably need a bunch of fancy rails and actuators. probably doable?

Yes! grow the fanbase, and get some expertise. some of my favorite youtubers for build colabs would be; dboss garage knows a lot about deisel, abom79 third generation master machinist, this old tony i dont know what this guy does, but hes excelent at machine fabrication, and editing, AvE has worked in heavy industry for probably decades, Alec Steele blacksmith, liam Hoffman blacksmith, finnegans garage fabricator/speed demon/ and overall bad decision maker.
