I've lived in Fla. since my exit from the military in '72, and my wife is a native Floridian. We are in N. Fla. and we have never been to that place. It is now on our bucket list, thanks to you good folks. Your videos are top notch. Very good music, transitions, clip lengths, and photography. I look forward to each and every one. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your service! We used to live in Destin, FL. We love finding neat places to visit. The kids had a blast and so did we. We love to share our story, but we wanted to capture more than just the journey. That’s why we add our music in as well. We appreciate your recognition for what it takes to create these videos. Our first videos and latest ones are worlds apart but we learn with each episode. Thank you again for your support and warm regards. All the best to you and your family from all of us here. Pam & Lee.

That monster truck was awesome, but this old lady loves trucks. I have picked strawberries and Apples in Washington State but never oranges in Florida. I think having the kids make things even more fun. Last Wednesday we went up to Mt. Rainier National park it was so beautiful. Safe travels and I will be watching for the next video.

Hi Irene! Mt. Reinier National Park sounds amazing. We have never been and can’t wait to explore the area. Yes, taking the kids through the orchards was amazing. However, the ants really got us good since we were all wearing flip flops. The oranges 🍊 were second to none though. They were incredible. Can’t wait to do it again. All the best, Pam & Lee.

That’s for sharing. Meeting up with our daughter and her family in December @ Disney, will have to go there since we are all AF veterans and our SIL is active duty Space Force.

Heads up It’s not the largest truck in the world. Churchill , Manitoba Canada, they use trucks as big or even larger for polar bear exploration, they transport tourists across the frozen tundra to see polar bears
@discoveryboundrv2 жыл бұрын
LOL. Yeah, I’m sure those Florida trucks were the biggest at one time but every year new records are broken. I believe Bigfoot 5 has the record for 2022 so far. It was definitely a fun experience and we can’t wait to do it again. I don’t think I can get the girls on board for polar bear exploration, but I’m sure there is a zoo nearby. 😀 Thanks for the heads up and all the best!

I know right! It broke our hearts that he had to hobble the whole way to the monster truck. At least he is surrounded by friends and eats well.

The orange groves disappeared because Florida had so much freezing winter weather in a row, hurricanes and plant disease. Many of the citrus farmers eventually gave up and moved their crops south to more reliably and consistently warmer areas. The F1 race car driver, Emerson Fittapalde, after retirement, moved his citrus interests to South America. Moved his Pinapple business too a year later. It was mostly the weather, though that forced many of the citrus fatmers, with their crops, to move South. The void of the citrus farmers was then filled by the housing developers seeing a profit in the making. Though mich of citrus has disappeared, there are some hardy farmers that kept their orange groves land, stayed trying to bring the crops back. So fortunatly, there are some orange crops to still see even if it's the lowest production since WW2.

@discoveryboundrv2 жыл бұрын
Hi Josh! Thanks for the tip and great reference. We will check it out. We haven’t done the install since we don’t like the new kits that are all spare tire delete. We need our spare tire so that means I have to make support brackets to mount the reservoir tank, horns, etc. keep you posted on our progress. 👍
