This car has the same V12 engine, same AC system, same interior quality, same cheap Garmin navigation system, same infotainment as the Aston Martin Rapide from 2010, it's the *SAME DAMN* design on the inside, exactly same!. And Aston Martin Rapide goes for sale between 55,000-60,000 USD. Aston Martin played the biggest April fool joke from 2014-2016 and charged a million dollars for it. That Lagonda cabin looks like a relaxing cool place to be with nice finish and bledn of materials and the V12 should be enough to make steady progress and the exclusivity should keep residuals high. I didn't think anyone could marry up the DB lines to those of a saloon, but it works. As a chauffeur, rear headroom and ease of entry/exit is the first thing I look for and it seems to do that well. The only concern to me is a decent boot/trunk but if it carries all of the occupant's belongings, job done. Beautiful car, greetings from Queensland.

It's a fantastic recreation of the original, however it looks much larger inside, which is a negative point as the Langonda needs to be narrow inside, tight in the back and totally out of proportions considering the size of the car. It's also lacking piping in the seats. This is my first car, together with a red original Series II Lagonda, to be bought after jackpot.

I would think that the cost of the Lagonda reflects the limited production run. You have to spread the fixed costs over a very small number of units. But, as a result, the owner knows that he has a car that is very unique. I have seen literally dozens of Rolls Phantoms over the years, but I have never seen a Lagonda. Some people are willing to pay for exclusivity. That is the reality for most collectibles.
