Being a Floridian who was raised diving and free diving with my grandfather who was a commercial fisherman. I can tell you who's falt it is its the sod and the sugar cain companys also the corp. Of engineers falt every year they flush out the canals to the rivers witch end up in lakes and saltwater canals like Okeechobee lake and is flushed out to the ocean along with All the fertilizers and pesticides. They have ran off during the rainy seasons from the soils. That's what's killing the reefs.

Apologies in advance for butting in to the comments on this video with a total non sequitur. Utah 1st District Court Judge, after keeping both parties waiting for over a year and in the first webex hearing held on this case, in a shocking maneuver rules in favor of plaintiffs on a 250 million dollar default judgement, the largest in the states history. Defendants have filed an Interlocutory appeal to block the Judge from signing the order. No hearing date set on that one. Fun facts: 1. 168+ motions filed with the court at time of ruling 2. plaintiffs counsel filed no proof of service with the court 3. plaintiffs counsel provided no certificate of default to defendants counsel 4. plaintiffs counsel ignored rules of civil procedure when dealing with defendants counsel. 5. The Judge never held a hearing prior to issuing this ruling about the merits of the case or for evidentiary purposes regarding the amount and, as mentioned, shockingly ruled against defendants 6. Defendants attempts at discovery were ignored and plaintiffs refused to appear for depositions. 7. One of the plaintiffs is awaiting sentencing in New Jersey for having pled guilty to 2 counts of felony fraud (credit card identity theft in NJ and PPP loan fraud in UT) but has avoided sentencing for over 2 years with legal antics and is now attempting to withdraw his guilty pleas altogether. 8. This same individual, while out on presentencing probation, has been accused by the IRS of committing a tax fraud scheme to the tune of nearly 700 million dollars. 9. Additionally, this same individual is now suing American Express, the victim of the credit card identity theft which he pled guilty to. I know this is not applicable to the video shown here, but we cannot seem to get anyone in the media to respond to this story. Any ideas?

I have no idea what you’re talking about, no backstory… so what is your point here?
@johnwicksbarber6182Ай бұрын
@@teresanoel4035 a frivolous lawsuit for 250 million that a judge ruled in their favor on without a hearing to listen to the merits of the case. The plaintiffs were not following legal procedures and the judge ruled in their favor anyway. This is a clown show and we cannot get anyone to pay attention to this. If they did it to us, they can do it to you. I am a nobody. This is lawfare by someone hostile toward us that is trying to take everything we have worked a lifetime to build.

It makes one wonder if one looks worldwide, where are the places with the warmest oceans (and perhaps exposure to bad water quality) which despite these conditions have have the most vibrant reefs? Obviously there are questions/issues of introducing “invasive species” into an existing ecosystem, but our knowledge in that regard is as advanced as as ever. Investigating the genomes of various coral species with differing heat/pollution tolerance (and/or growth speed) vs. those that don’t - and the genes responsible for those characteristics seems like a potentially necessary catalyst given the rate of Florida’s reef loss.

Less populated Florida might help also. The impact of population out of control is immense. Some things money won't cure. I'm sad about how we just can't say it's money isn't everthing But how to change that mindset on a mass scale
@julzm7067Ай бұрын
Where we allow building is perhaps more important. Barrier islands, bays and intracoastal waterways should be left natural. Changing the flow of water of the interior has been catastrophic, pumping out too much water creates sinkholes due to the underlying rock being fragile limestone. St Augustine grass requires so much fertilizer the runoff kills the plants that are nurseries for fish in the Intracoastal and is a major contributor to algae blooms.
@Lee-yb2zrАй бұрын
@julzm7067 yes I agree with you. I am originally ally from Florida. It is well documented that this is happening. It is a sand bar a very big sand bar. And very unique. In my opinion. Too bad that it will one day be ruined if something isnt done.

One thing I got from this whole interview is Alexa not breaking down, or Larrissa. When my dad died, I howled for days! Like a wolf! I cried my eyes out so much so, I didn't produce any more tears! So, whether they were involved, or not, this is what I noticed. My other thought is this. We are drilling early on, the survival skills, into our kids! I mean young girls talk about what they'd do to survive & have evidence. They watch CSI or something! Little kids are taught to run away from strangers, and always take a really good look at the person, for police sketches. I mean, I am not surprised, she paid attention! As for the height. Easy. She went by her own height. So again, clever girl! I wud try to smell him, and what not to get every information!😂 I am not dissing her clever, smart actions. It didn't save her mom, but got her killer behind bars. Young life got cut short, by his own stupid action, not to mention, changed a family forever! Very sad!😞

But either way the second I saw that weapon. I would have charged her with possession of a weapon while intoxicated just to get the weapon secure and let the courts decide after a blood draw that would tell the tale . But overall the police didn't want to get sued or violate her ex trooper rights dangerous if you ask me
