So now you can put those little oxidising salt crystals everywhere twice as quickly. I bought the 2.0 when it was first released. Untill I realised just how much salt I was putting in the window frames and sliding doors frames, and considering the living/dining area of the house is a metal frame construction I thought it probably a good idea to stick to other means of getting rid of flies. Plus, the gun with the spring fired plastic swatter worked better than the unreliable bugasalt. Another device that outperforms the rustmaker is the electrified tennis racket things as you only have to intercept the flight path and not actually impact the fly with force and it drops them instantly, as well as letting you know you got it with a satisfying little zap sound.
