I've built my share of small blocks, and this is the coolest thing I've seen. I would love to see this thing in a car. The details just are amazing. Seeing all the tiny parts having built plenty of them I can truly appreciate building a normal size engine has its headaches I can't imagine the headaches of not only dealing with the tiny parts but making them that's next level.

Wait I thought you said...1/6 scale.. Didn't chevy 327 have 4" bore.. So piston should be 0 667" diameter... It don't matter... You made a beautiful model Just amazing

Bigger bore gives you more room for valves and spark plug, he was probably limited by the minimum size the valves and valve springs could be and still run
@fredmitchel12364 ай бұрын
Yap...bigger bore for more valves.. Maybe I heard him say bore was 0.6" True scaled 1/6 327 bore would have 0.66" Maybe I will listen again... I bought a Yausa rotary table...from an old dude in Phoenix... He build scale running models of engines too... The one special tool...cool...it was like parts tracer....lots of pivot brackets... It allowed full scale trace to smaller parts.... And that Trikoke or spelled almost correctly... And rotary table that could be tilted...then it was on his Briggeport vertical mill.. No CNC...

Just calculated out the CID, it is 1.1 cubic inch or 18 cc - that is very small.
