Once the iron curtain came down in the early 90’s the game changed. I know it’s era’s, training, nutrition and recovery now. Big Z would have walked through this like it was warm up! Anyway, go big Geoff, I was a huge fan, watched all this in the 80’s. RIP legend!

It's sad that these video constantly are getting taken down. I wanted to watch the WSM documentary called 30 Years of Pain, but I couldn't find it from any official sources. I don't understand why I have to watch a mirror of this content, when it was on the official channel a few years ago :'(

You are correct but thinges are totally different now then they where back then... back then there wasn't really all that much of muscle enhancement drugs like there is now besides gear... in my opinion bill is more naturally strong. I think he would give him a run for his money if they where from the same time honestly
@brookewebb4649

Also just because your tall and have big muscles doesn't mean your actually strong there are plenty of people out there that built and have the look but they aren't actually strong they just look the part but can't really get out there and lift heavy like these guys back in the 8th early 90s where just training way different an with out all the cheating supplements and other fancy shit they just did it straight up for the most part lol

@@AndreRiikonen he preformed for the queen man , there is a museum in Nova Scotia for him , just because it happened before we had phones deoesnt mean it didn’t happen, he used to pull little Tom “small person “ out of his jacket and let him dance on one hand!! 100lbs out at arms length for ten minutes!! One barrel under each arm at 300 plus pounds, and much more , read up , would of easily deadlift 500kg

That truck pull was so flawed with the yellow lane something was wrong. Geoff did the truck pull twice as he had to do first in yellow lane until they realise all athletes struggled with the yellow lane. So they have athletes another attempt in the blue lane and guess what they all did better. But I’m sorry capes doing a truck pull twice to cement second place should beat bill only doing it once in the blue lane.

And Bill should have came back that next year but they were dummies and didn't let him. I'll never watch the WSM competitions from the 80s past 82 because of that. I'll probably skip ahead to 2002 now
