I just have to say that it's so refreshing to see someone who shares my body type platformed on a show like this. We all know at some level that fitness and health are separate from body type, and there's no way to argue this woman isn't in incredible physical shape, but I'm equally sure she's been shamed and belittled. Imho that's one of the things that American Football also does incredibly well. There is a place in the team for basically any body shape. In Europe, where the sport is a bit of a niche, we are very much searching for many more big guys and gals. There is also Flag Football with limited contact.

Excellent to see Rebecca on the podcast & to hear that she's dong so well. I used to take part (at a low level) in Highland Game power events & it was always sad that the woman's section was so poorly attended. But it's something many games are now aggressively trying to change & encourage more women to take part. Would be fantastic to see women of Rebecca's calibre take part of get involved to encourage others. Wishing her all the best in her goal to be a five times winner she's a real inspiration.

I don't know if this is something you guys would be interested in, but there's a lot of people such as myself who absolutely adore food come from a a family who loves food but has a very troubled relationship with it. I have been in recovery from an eating disorder for 10 years and in those 10 years I have come an incredibly long way from being afraid of food to learning how food actually fuels in my body and helps me be a wonderful mum and if that's something you'd be interested in I would love to talk about it
