Used to watch tri series in my college days.....unfortunately it was my late teens...neglected study and ended up with poor marks....but in my 50s now I am cherishing the old memories of tri series matches which were in channel 9....time was mixed that time....but cricket was at its best....we were enjoying every match....whether my beloved country India was playing or not.....big boundaries. .... Great bowlers....intensity....all were great....

Yes ! Javed really played great. He made one run and drop a catch. The entire Pakistani team was out at 140 runs. Pakistan won not because Pakistan played well or led well by Javed . Pakistan won because West Indies did not bat well.

Imran Khan never had a shoulder injury it was a stress fracture of shin Durning Pakistan India series in 1983 just before the 1983 world cup which resulted in him not bowling for Pakistan until 1985 in mini world cup in Australia
