When someone takes a big portion of your chips, “that’s ok I still have 2.4 million” is exactly the right attitude. Patients and a little luck and those chips can come back 10 fold. And I usually do get them back when I set out too.

I think like with many countries,,accents have a lot to do with it too. And just lack of experience with the phrase. Like hardly ever hear it myself besides here and some sports events. Just a cultural barrier and small mistake imo. And I'm sure let's say non Americans would have the same mistake as well at first
