Not only what he's done, but also how he's done it. Always a man of class, and humility, and fucking tough as hell. As South Africans we always know there's no such thing as an easy game against Wales - Wales is pretty much the proudest rugby nation out there, so it's like you're taking on the whole country at once. And AWJ's presence over the last decade and half has been a backbone of that. Thank you for the great memories, and I know in SA we really want you to captain the Lions, because you're the leader we respect the most on that side, and we always want to play the best. The great Pride of Wales - an awesome thing to witness!

@@richarddavies7555 I bloody wish I could go - unfortunately the ticket sales thing is a mess, still lots of misinformation, but last I checked the stadium's were gonna be empty unfortunately. Will be weird for sure with no crowds in. I'm not sure who'll win the series but pretty sure it'll be 2-1... neither team is safely ahead in all departments

Alun Wyn Jones is a legendary player with amazing spirit and leadership! He has represented his position proudly not to mention his pride as a Welshman and revealing how being a stunning figure in the 2nd row as a lock can be an amazing journey which he has had in spades! I'm an American who loves rugby and am a avid enthusiast of this fine and incredibly fast growing sport! I have a lot of respect for his skill and his humbleness and i too have a bit of Welsh blood on my father's side which i am extremely proud of! Alun Wyn Jones deserves this recognition and to see all these players from legends of the past to the current squad players from his team and apposing players. It really shows how much he has shown and grown over the years! Way to go AWJ! Congratulations from the USA and you have cemented yourself into rugby history as a servant of greatness! Few people, regardless of era, will manage 15+ years in International rugby, in the same position as they first started. On the horizon............ Long time yet but I wouldn't put it past George North to be the next Welshman to exceed 150 caps? Probably seen the last of George on the wing, now he's at 13, next step will be 12 and finally, 5-6 years from now, probably at 15.
