The fact the Towers appeared in so many movies even while under construction shows how culturally relevant they were, and it also shows just how deep the wound went when they were destroyed.

Or you know... New York City was relevant, and they happened to be in the shot considering they're part of the skyline of the city. Kind of a silly take, it's not like they were actively filming the towers under construction.

@@TaxingIsThieving Were they the exact same amount of days old? Even if they were, people like you really need to hear this. COINCIDENCES HAPPEN. Connecting things that are completely unrelated by something as stupid as how many years they existed does nobody any good. What does this connection possibly have to do with anything? Do you seriously think god gives a fuck about a couple towers in a shithole like New York City? If he existed, I guarantee you he doesn't care. Did he care about Japan when the earthquakes and tsunamis hit? What about all those people who are permanently frozen in ash in Pompeii? No. So what is even your "point"? Capitalism entirely stands in the face of what Jesus even preached in the first place. Any person who is simultaneously religious AND pro capitalism, are purposely ignoring the teachings of one of those two things. Capitalism teaches stepping on someone's face when they're drowning, even though you could easily pick them up and save them. Religion (generally) teaches the EXACT opposite. Except you know, when you get mongoloid extremists using religion for nefarious purposes.

1:02 - My guy must have been real rich for that recording quality 💀
@MegaByte89042 күн бұрын
Film, in general, is a LOT better than people give it credit for in term of actual recording quality. The reason we all have this assumption that so many films from the 70s and 80s naturally looked so bad and “soft” is because we often watch old, degraded reels that have been dug up and digitally rescanned after 50 years. It’s not the camera itself that impresses me about that shot, it’s that fact that the film reel survived so long in near perfect condition - it’s almost a miracle. Either that or some serious restoration work was done.

Restoration, if the original film print is still avaliable (and in good state) movies from even the 1930's can have a full HD picture
@MegaByte89042 күн бұрын
@@pksstr This. People always expect old film to look bad, soft, and fuzzy. The reason for all that “bad” film quality in a lot of pictures is because of poor (say, 720p or lower) digital rescanning of often damaged, degraded film reels with no attempt at restoration work. In truth, the upper limits of film quality are often so much more than anyone gives it credit for in the modern day.

Boy, back when movies like this were shown at such a more simpler time in America. Even I wish that was still the case, today. Ever since that tragic morning, in which my father still remembers very well, in which he was nearly a casualty (stopped just in time, thanks to my late grandma/his mother), things were just never the same. Especially for me. There were times I wanted a picture in front of those towers, but we never did come close to them, once. The only picture of myself in front of them, is one that plays in my head, for when my father pointed out the World Trade Center, in front of me, whenever we flew out or landed in Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), in which he has often called home for years. I miss those memories, when I was young, and I certainly wish a morning like Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, never had to happen, ever. So many of us, do. Like these movies, and the people involved in so many of them, we will never forget that tragic morning, and them, too.

What has happened is that in the last 25 years or so the super wealthy have built wealth upon wealth upon wealth. Doesn't Jeff Bezos make something like a million dollars a minute? People are working two or even three jobs to make ends meet,..it doesnt matter if that happens in America or Australia, it's trickle up (not down) economics in play. Sorry if I seem like a whinging communist but seriously, I'm not talking about people making a million, ten million or a hundred million. That's fine. I am talking about those billionaires that run the show. Why does one person need so much money to last a thousand lifetime? And so many of them pay so little tax or no tax.

@@GenZ-edits1037 At the moment, these are all the movies/TV series/cartoons before 2001 that I could find. But I am sure that this is still far from a complete list, because there are still many films that cannot be found on the Internet. Here is a good site where movies are gradually being added where there were WTC: donnagrunewald.wixsite.com/wtcinmovies

@@NobleGamer889I started doing the second part. I've already started searching for movies. But I want to say that the second part turns out to be sad. Since there are many films with documentary footage where the towers are destroyed. And anyway, the atmosphere is not the same as it was in the films before 2001. It's noticeable. But I'll try to do the second part anyway.
