It's taken a long time to convince my friend i don't like crossing in the middle of the street. They always get annoyed when i walk a long ways to a crosswalk. But they deal with it. Haha!

I live in AZ and I also face the issue. However, Vocational Rehab by State of AZ has really good people working with them and they teach how to cross streets based on traffic movement where there are not a lot of people on the road. You can reach out to Vocational Rehabilitation Program of the State that you live in. They can be the great help. Thanks B&B, you rock!!!

I still drive, lol. I live in small town and it is patterned so I manage. My only real threat is sunny days and traffic lights. Sunglasses help.
