Thanks for coming back! Sadly, there isn't really any interest in my local scene, so I haven't gotten any games in yet. I am pretty keen to give it a go though, so I am rotating units into my painting queue every so often. Once I have a fully painted demo set ready to go, it might be easier to strong arm someone into a game! I have scoured over the rules and theory crafted some lists, and I think the game has good bones. I really enjoy the feel of combined arms at smaller scales like this, Dropzone Commander, Legions Imperialis, and Heavy Gear. I really like the way the artillery mechanics work here too (having to zero in on your target). I can't wait to pull out the giant acrylic template of doom.

I have one more section to film tonight, and then I will be editing my first two videos looking at the Warsaw Pact army deal boxes. The vids will probably drop on Sunday. Bottom line, if you like the units in the boxes, they are an awesome value.

*Each army deal box seems to be roughly 33-50% of a full army, depending on which nation you field them as.

I should mention that in the newer releases, they stopped putting unit cards in unit boxes. You have to get the card pack for the nation you want to play. The Soviets are split up between the Soviet card pack and the newer Red Dawn card pack (VDV infantry and the upgraded ERA tanks).
