Obviously there's less mods BUT I think it could still work if you just squeeze in every mod there is. I've done AI only games where the Americas, before old world colonization, were perfectly diverse.

Xtremeswag YT North America, you have an abundance of civs, ranging from natives to individual US states. For South America and the Caribbean, you have a lot more modern day states representing the region e.g Argentina and Brazil. My only worry is the HUGE power house Australia will be. You'd have to get like 4 civs or something on the continent in order to deter one from becoming too big.

Drew. If you are having trouble running the game with so much going on and so many mods, try using strategic view. I forced myself to use it in one of my modded campaigns, and know I don't even notice that I am and it boosts my performance in game by about 300%
