Such a great idea, Shana! Doing a monthly challenge this way would make it seem less overwhelming and more do-able. I am so impressed with how you made the whole thing cohesive, given that you couldn't really plan ahead except for the stencil shapes. I think my favorite is your sweet dog under the blanket.

Brilliant!!! This was my first year too. I did October and I saw a big improvement in my drawing ability so I highly recommend trying it. It’s hard to pick just one favourite from this page. Hearing your stories, thoughts etc elevates them. I will be trying this approach of mini paintings across two pages for daily warm-ups. Thanks for sharing!

Heard about you from LindsayW, so I ventured over to your YT channel… great flip through of your WWCM24 prompts, which like you I finally completed in its entirety this year, by creating a 4x6 accordion styled art journal out of watercolor paper… that was so much fun creating, while the smaller area actually allowed me to complete the prompts. Great paintings for watercolor month Shana! I loved Tidal, Tarot, Spike the plant, Arch. You could come up with your own version of a watercolor challenge using your Artist Dice. I'm not a Sticker person, but I'm sure there would be a lot of people that would buy your stickers if you made them.

Shana, far too many that I really like to be able to choose one! As for too much yellow? I think that your balancing of colour across the page was just totally, intuitively, harmonious and cheerful! Also, I know just how long small paintings can take to do, and again, from me, full respect for this intricate work of art. Looking at the whole spread again, I'm picking out _ (in no particular order)_ Rust (brilliant glazing technique!), the seascape, the blue and yellow glazed flowers, traffic lights (I love the shape of this, with the 'wings' on each side of the lights). Oh, and the barber's pole for the sparkle of inspiration, and additions to the rectangle, study, for its wonderful, innocent simplicity. Ditto for Rush. And finally, but definitely not least, for sheer genius of artistic ability, Maisie, under your blanket... Ok, I have to stop there! It's getting late here, and I really do need to do the ironing, cos I need one of the skirts for church tomorrow!!! Otherwise, I could probably find a reason for the remaining twenty-four!!!! 🤔 Oh - and the bridge! That's not an error because of the gap at the binding. It's an old bridge and the land has slipped on one side, so there's a slip in the brickwork in the middle of the bridge. That's my reason, anyway, and I think it's a good one! 😄

I'm glad the cluster of yellow wasn't too distracting, I tried to balance it once I realized it was there! Your assessment of the bridge is fantastic because it really is a very old bridge! I had fun playing with each of the shapes and modifying them for the prompts, especially the traffic light and barber pole! I'm glad you enjoyed what I came up with! These were great to look at. I also did World Watercolor month and made a video which I still need to post. We have a couple of the same themes- the raisin bran, the vinyl record, and the cat claw. I liked hearing your stories behind each of them. I have to say, I had several duds in my month's worth, but had a few of mine that I liked as well. I really like your spread you did, what a great idea!

I love that! Great minds think alike! I definitely had a few that I was less than pleased with. But overall, I am just happy that I stuck with it! I can't wait to see your video when it comes out!

"Rush" - maybe the "annoying space" could be toned down a little with a clock outside the Rush-box, because the person is chasing afer time :D "Deck" - haha, a Tarot Deck is the association that I would have gone with too, I have quite a few of them! "Pull" - OMG!! 😂🤣😂 ...I was gonna say the little bridge and the "Tidal"-sunset are my favorites, but I have to admit, your Pull-Finger is too brilliant!! 🤣🤣🤣

I also have several decks, I'm glad I'm not alone in that interest! 🥰 I thought about putting something in that empty space, but I couldn't think of what. A clock is a good idea! I will have to think about it. I'm not sure I want to add anything at this point, I kinda just want to be done, lol. But that is a good one!

@@CautionArtistatPlay Butting in here, I know, but for me, Rush is exactly as it should be! There's an emoticon with a rabbit running, and a big watch and lots of other takes on it with a clock (including one I did myself! ), So, yes, I'm butting in, and others will disagree, I'm sure, and that's ok with me! But your take on it really doesn't need the clock - she's perfect as she is. I'm also cautious about going back to a finished spread that we're proud of to try to alter something, and then realising we should have left well alone! 🤗
