On the 6 May 2023 I managed to fly World2Fly / Jet2 down the Faro in Portugal. I booked this flight solely on the bases of wanting to fly the Airbus A330-300, since I've only flown the A330-200 Variant.
Flying A330-300's on short routes like these hardly ever happens and you may have to fly Virgin Atlantic or Aer Lingus if your wanting to fly the A333 out of Manchester Airport
I had an All Day Breakfast because it was still a Jet2 Flight, just operated by World2Fly due to the high demand with Jet2 Flights. I booked this flight Through Jet2 as well, not W2F.

I have a 27kg fold up mobility scooter, flying on this soon from MAN. Where should I hand over the scooter? On the air bridge or try and get it taken to the ground?

@Tony Sharp depending on the stand, you should be able to take it to the aircraft door, from there, one of our ramp colleagues will tie it down its own ULD so it will be safe.

i have not flown from manchester in around 4/3 years, and i have a flight at 7:30am in august, are the security lines normally any shorter than an hour? i have heard security has not improved at manchester at all and im not surprised

It depends on the hour, I would say at 7:30AM you will have missed all the lines as they appear more around 3AM - 5AM with all the canary flights. I would suggest maybe arriving earlier to the airport and collecting a Fast Track pass or do it Online through your Airline. Thats the best idea I have for you. Again it's completely unpredictable as sometimes the belts break down and lack of staff can affect the efficiency of the flow. Best of Luck! Sam

I''m almost certain there is taxi's at Faro Airport. I would ask a rep at the airport who works for TUI or Jet2 as they will know the designated taxi drop off and pick up zones. Hope this helped.

What was the config. on this A333? Do they fly it on other routes other than Faro? Why do choose to seat most of the times on the wing which has obstructed view and not choose upfront seat to record the engine spooling up and roaring (or going on thrust-reverse, if you're lucky, during landing?

I've done many trip reports where I am not sat over the wing, just take a good look. The config was 2-4-2. For the future I will take your feedback and see what I can do regarding over the engine, sometimes sitting up front costs more depending on the airlines configuration

@@TTENetwork The A333 is a great bird..More so for me than the A332..I love how its engines roar..Recently i flew the A333 on LX ATH-ZRH. They had biz class on offer and it was fantastic..Also, if you love WBs on short-haul EK is flying its 777-300ER on LCA-MLA-LCA which is a 2hr flight and Austrian is flying its 772ER on VIE-LCA-VIE on the 7th of October

A GoPro Suction Cup, you can find them on Amazon. I’ve had mine for 6 years and it works very well

I just realised from this video that Jet2 operate 2 airbus a330-200 from air tanker as their is one parked at the gate and then one parked at a stand.

The plane is 13 Years old, it just has old interior, I'm sure if they refurbished it it would look fantastic. However the aircraft is smooth and still a modern airliner to today!
