An hour and thirty six minutes? That is not a KZbin Episode, that is a Feature Film bro!!! Absolutely LOVE what you have been doing with the shows lately. You are funny and kind and I have a lot of respect for you as a person, even though you probably voted for Joe & Kamala, but we won't hold that against you because you are honestly a nice guy and you have served your country, thank you for your service sir. For many years, you have been doing a huge service to the world (US) with your videos and commentaries, so keep up the great work and don't let the BEE holes get you down, because YOU sir are what AMERICA is all about!!

One day in the mid nineties I got off Amtrak in LA and walked around for a few hours. I happened upon Angel's Flight and rode it up and down maybe twice or thrice. Twas really cheap back then, and apparently I was quite easily entertained. For such a small event I have always remembered that little funicular with fondness 😊

Nothing is worse than the grammar police.
@hippiekarl76 ай бұрын
Poor grammar (and the decided unwillingness to finish learning one's own language) is FAR worse than those trying to help the willfully Ignorant express themselves. I surmise that your easily-bruised ego (ie being edited/'corrected') bothers you ~more~ than your inability to express yourself in English. People in general ascribe ~less~ value to your speech/opinions/prose when you display "bad grammar"; just like they do with stunted vocabularies. It's a quick sign of an uneducated person (and the desire to refuse help with it further shows an unhealthy pleasure in one's un-necessary ignorance). The "grammar police" are trying to ~help~ you to be understood when you speak or type. Your ego-fueled Resentment of help is a comical aspect of Human Nature.

Hydrogen lamp light??? Hydrogen burns with an invisible flame. Methane gas, like in your kitchen stove, has a yellow flame that is due to its carbon content. Hydrogen is tricky, like in an oil refinery, because a leak could easily catch fire.. its a nearly invisible blue flame and you could walk into it! Ouch.

I lived in Roswell for a couple of years. I met people from the Hondo Valley, between Roswell and Ruidoso. I met lifelong residents from a community called Arabella who claim to have seen aliens, their crafts, and kinda coexisted periodically with them when the aliens just sorta hung out. The locals thought the aliens were observing the nuclear testing over at the Stallion Site.

Fires in major cities where caused by balloon construction which allowed more or less a chimney in your walls which would create draft in the building which would allow fire to be fed air inside the walls and make a building go up faster. Now each floor has to have fire breaks in the walls so fires do not skip floors. These fires are what brought about the first fire and building codes. Now we have platform framing instead.

People sacrifice their most valuable thing to their Gods, or at least those are the only true sacrifices. Like babies, the best of the crop (or portion thereof), the firstborn lamb etc. I get it that these days people only sacrifice the easiest things, (money usually), nothing that hurts or that they would notice as lack, and of course the tax exemption must come, as well as a plaque honoring them. So just saying that when you don't understand what sacrifice means, it might seem odd to you.

If you're going to the Baltimore Museum of Dentistry, you might also take in the nearby Museum of Urology. But don't take the kids. Note that some exhibits (especially on their website) are in medical jargon, such as this: "Ingestion of an amputated penis is not a contraindication to replantation." edit: if you can't figure out what that means, don't worry. You are better off not knowing.
