Can the commentators please stop telling us the result of other matches we may not have yet watched. It is really ruining the whole event!!! Who would bother to go watch a sporting event that you already knew the result of!!!! Please have a thought for the fan & keep quiet!!! 😡😡😡😡😡

Mm, I'm surprised the international judges allow archers to pre-draw high like the Korean gentleman does - it's dangerous; if something happens to cause him to let go that arrow could go a long way beyond the targets, even at half-draw. It's fine if the arrow stays horizontal to floor, but he looks like he is achieving 20-30 degrees

From what I can tell, seems like most of his shots don't actually start their draw until a little above, which I'd assume to be expected from a high draw. A little more difficult to tell at long distance since parallel to the floor shots would send the arrow to the ground.

Yeh a little above the line of the shot is normal, my worry is the initial movement where the bow is temporarily tilted at an angle much greater than needed to shoot. I think Talukdar of India was referred by FITA because of this early in his career and had to change form. It's risky especially when there is limited backstop and buildings behind.

gggfx yeah I heard about several archers having to adjust because of surfacing legality rules concerning the drawing process, though I've yet to see it being called out during a match.

Unless there is a really immediate danger I think they are talked to afterward; I assume the report to request someones action to be review for safety reasons goes through some committee as well so they don't think it's just that judge. Still, it seems strange for a Korean because usually their coaching approach seems quite standardised.

gggfx ku’s form is quite unique, bc he doesnt actually draw whilst his bow is angled up, the string relative to the bow stays pretty still. he starts drawing more once his bow is almost level, i think hes js trying to use the momentum from the downward motion, but in a way thats legal according to the wa rules. when he has his bow high the string is pulled very minimally, maybe 10 pounds at the most, quite possibly much less, i wouldnt expect that arrow to go any more than 50 meters
