So true Noel, I remember working with you at Jamaica Biscuit and telling you that they took your thoughts and skills and never reward you for it. Stay humble my friend it will eventually come.

The scene had much to do with the creation of this iconic thing.I hope Noel gets proper recognition, but remember this album was a 'win by committee'!!!! Much love all who watched this!!!!

Why sa that jammy gone wid everything

This is a rather convoluted story. How did we associate The Sleng Teng rhythm with Wayne Smith only? Somebody got ripped off, as usual. Jammy’s and other producers of the day, we evil pirates. In fact, one of the producers of the day was called “Black Beard” real pirate.

What a load of DRIVEL! Can't understand a word that is being mumbled? In any case, surely it is CASIO who CREATED the BEAT because they INVENTED the machine?!
@waynetardiff93285 жыл бұрын
He programmed the sequence!!!Wayne discovered the sequencer,but the sequence had to be reconstructed. Then jammy put the beats down with the rhythm guitars etc.the toasters probably made the most $ ,as 'primary artists'

The fact that you cannot follow the words spoken is more an indicator of your lack of experience of this "type of music" or "this kind of speaking accent" than an indicator of the VALUE of this interview.... Next time don't comment on things until you made a bit MORE effort to comprehend them. I can perfectly easily follow what Noel says, for example. Another point - by your logic CASIO owns all music made on they machines, ever. Good luck with that theory :)
