Been obsessing over Lila since I discovered her on Tiny Desk yesterday. This is, by far, the best interview I've found. Listening to her is like being in the company of a goddess on earth. Jamaicans are some of the strongest people on the face of the Earth, yet they have somehow used dancehall to diminish the mindset of my people with all the negative content. but listening to this empress gives me all the hope in the world that things can change for the better in Jamaica. Bob Marley was killed because of the message in his music and even today so many positive talents are being suppressed to keep the masses asleep, someone is paying these people to put negative content to our youth and we need to start holding them accountable, there is no people more powerful than Jamaicans. slice of Africa!!
