Just doin' this to waste more time on the couch [Chorus] Can you see me? I'm waiting for the right time I can't read you, but if you want, the pleasure's all mine Can you see me using everything to hold back? I guess this could be worse Walking out the door with your bags Walking out the door with your bags Walking out the door with your bags Walking out the door with your bags, [Verse 2] Pour your glass of wine Mitchell told me I should be just fine (Yeah) Cases under the bed Spill it open, let it rush to my head I don't wanna be forward, I don't wanna cut corners Savor this with everything I have inside of me I'm not the type to run I know that we're having fun But what's the rush? Kissing, then my cheeks are so flushed Tell you how I felt Sugar coated melting in your mouth Pardon my emotions I should probably keep it all to myself Know you'd make fun of me Know you'd make fun of me Know you'd make fun of me Know you'd make fun of me [Chorus] Can you see me? I don't why, but this song almost does it for me. So many deep regrets in my life. I wake up each day and remind myself to enjoy my day. To forgive myself for all my failures. I make excuses to soften the blow. I say things like, "alot of the men in my family were like this." I accept it as perfection yet deep sensations arise when I reflect on my greatest defeats. Disturbing thoughts that have crossed my mind so often they've now become beliefs. Part of being in hell is being so close to being free; Being so close to achieving dreams and goals worthy enough to consider yourself redeemed.

He's actually playing the same patterns, these drums just have a different sound. It's because the ones on the studio version are gated, meaning the reverb is cut off so they sound sharper and more precise. This live drum set doesn't have that effect on it, so we hear the whole drum sound.

I normally never comment. But I had to. The cadence of her voice is simply amazing. I am merely mesmerized, especially the first line she sings.

I love the lyrics. They hit me in a very emotional place. Sometimes I blast this song on repeat when I'm sad. It never gets old to me. Timeless.
