I’m amazed at how God is still using David Wilkerson even years after his passing! God truly anointed him and spoke through him. A truly devoted man of God who wasn’t afraid to speak truth!

This is January 29th, 2025. For the last 25 years I have used a spurgeon morning and evening devotional for adding to my word study each year. I would choose a small symbol to mark the pages the dates so I knew which years I had been reading which years had been significant as the holy Spirit would give insight. This year I chose a small circle with upturned eyes and an open mouth of astonishment. It's a simple symbol and I felt a little silly using it. But today as I listen to David Wilkerson teaching the word and testifying to God's goodness. And he said look up the holy Spirit quickened my own heart and sad. Yes, look up your redemption is drawing nice. I believe every promise to be true. I believe that the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob watches over Israel that Messiah promised Jesus of Nazareth promised and he will come and he will rescue us and take us to be with himself

I read the same devotional! Found it in a thrift store a few years ago for a $1! Today’s is about faith. “The things which are not seen” - 2 Corinthians 4:18 Towards the end of the devotion this one sentence is what stood out to me… “The joys of Heaven will surely compensate for the sorrows of earth.” To God be the glory!
