All i wanted to do this Christmas was to worship Jesus and share the love of Christ to my family. I love family being together and all but its so not about anything except for Jesus. I desire for my family to come to true salvation through the redemptive work of Christ. Christmas just impacted me in such a way this year that i began to see this time as a time for Jesus alone. Our gifts should be to Christ alone and our number one gift to Him is our hearts.

@bawbjusbawb6471 You're all wet with foolishness, read God's word, instead of believing doctrines of devils.: 7Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11And when they were come into the house, THEY SAW THE YOUNG CHILD WITH MARY HIS MOTHER, AND FELL DOWN, AND WORSHIPPED HIM: AND WHEN THEY HAD OPENED THEIR TREASURES, THEY PRESENTED UNTO HIM GIFTS; GOLD, AND FRANKINCENSE, AND MYRRH. 12And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

I was alone this Christmas. I lost my low paying job on October 22, 3 days before my birthday. I'm not sure if i can afford to stay in mh home anymore, its been 7 years i fought to keep it, but im tired. My family is dysfunctional which why i chose to be alone. Im just tired of pretending. All i ever wanted was im own family because i didn't have a happy childhood as my parents divorced. I just feel God's presence and direction.

Satan's job is to destroy what God loves, family. I grew up in a dysfunctional family as well so l separated myself from family in 1994. I had to break away from family on both sides in order to heal from childhood trauma and wounds. It was one of the smartest moves ever. Had l not relocated l wouldn't be the beautiful woman l am from the inside out. I wouldn't be whole, but still broken. I wouldn't have this beautiful loving relationship with Christ. I wouldnt have love for mankind, l wouldn't have joy nor peace every day all day. Some family members back then are the same family members today. They have not changed. They are lost, asleep, worried, and troubled. Lots of sickness and death all around them. I thank God that l opened my heart up to God and He has truly done a marvelous job on me. Life is good. I'm very happy in Christ. Christmas is everyday for me. ❤

(Luke 22:19) Paul also said we SHOULD remember Messiah on the Passover... (1 Corinthians 5:7 and 8) As stated in Mark 7:6 through 8 - 6Jesus answered them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 7 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’ 8You have disregarded the commandment of God to keep the tradition of men.”

Well, Jesus wasn't even born on Dec 25. He was born around Sept 25, which would be Feast of Tabernacles. If people kept that time as His birth, imagine how much different it would be. I was led to read 2 Chronicles this morning and discovered some really phenomenal stuff. Look up 2 Chronicles 8 vs 13. Unleavened bread - escape from Egypt Feast of weeks - wheat harvest Feast of Tabernacles - celebration and dwelling Book of John vs 14 talks about coming to dwell with us or to tabernacle with us. From harvestcommunity The Word Became Flesh and 'Tabernacled' Among Us John likes symbolism, as even a surface reading of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ will readily show. But John’s Gospel has its allusions and symbols too. One of these we find in the jaw-dropping declaration of John 1:14: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” The word “dwelt” in this verse (Greek, σκηνόω) wants to pull us back to the Old Testament wilderness wanderings of Israel where the glory of God dwelt among the people in a movable tent called the Tabernacle. Zechariah 14 has it that people will be celebrating Feast of Tabernacles.

YES I GUESS THE DEVIL LOVES IT WHEN CHRISTIANS ABANDON THE CELEBRATION OF JESUS'S BIRTH. WAKE UP CHURCH!!!!!!!!! THE FIRST CHRISTMAS: 8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. 15And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them

Most Christians will agree that celebrating Halloween is pagan in origin and steeped in spiritism and demons. However, I find it interesting that many Christians do not think that Christmas, with its pagan origins, is not steeped in spiritism and demons. They are steeped in both and are non-Christian holidays. True Christians would not celebrate either. The lights on a Christmas tree, the gift giving, the star on the Christmas tree, etc, are all steeped in pagan worship. History does not dispute that. What Christians have done is taken a pagan holiday and put Christ on it to make it appear that it's holy but it is not. Out of 364 other days that are still left in a year, why don't we celebrate our families and gift-giving in August when there are no holidays? it's very sad to see that tradition has taken over. The scriptures talk about not allowing days, seasons, months, and years dictate our relationship with the Lord. Galatians 4:8-11. Churches now have Trunk or Treat instead of actually all out celebration of Halloween, but they have simply adopted a Halloween tradition in order to still participate in the pagan holiday, and it's no different with Christmas. We should be worshiping God with spirit and Truth. Truth. Truth, truth. Many will be upset to read this, but we have to determine where our priorities and hearts are. With culture or the Lord

Jesus isn't a baby anymore. He is sitting at the right hand of his Father. Waiting for God to give the call. Go forth and destroy the wicked. That should terrify the unbelieving world. They have no idea what the second coming is. Jesus says, "Vengeance is mine", sayeth the Lord. " I will repay!"
@theeternalsbeliever177916 күн бұрын
This is honestly the Jesus traditional Christianity needs to hear more about: the Jesus that is coming back to judge, slay, destroy, and rule with a rod of iron. There is a lot of talk in religious circles about Him being a King and a Lord, but i'm willing to wager that most professing Christians don't really believe that He is supposed to rule over their lives and tell them how He is to be worshiped.

Seriously most people don’t honor Jesus as a baby or as grown up King 😢. They don’t do anything! They don’t acknowledge Him at all! It’s disgusting 🥵

I know right. Sign of the times. Most people around me , don't want to hear anything about Him, except my parents...no one else. It's offensive to them. 😮

A professing Christian who worships their own version of God with pagan customs is no better off spiritually than an atheist. They both serve their own will, doing whatever they want to do, and they want the true God to stay out of their lives until they are in desperate need of His help. If a professing Christian refuses to worship God _according to His instructions_ , their religion is worthless. That is what Jesus told the Pharisees in Mar. 7.

It doesn’t matter whether he was child or young, adolescence or adult who he was is important. Thus, the wise men and high priest Simon and Anna worshipped Jesus. Be aware from different kind of teachings.

I think we have somehow been celebrating the occasion wrong. Shouldn't it be a remembrance of the goodness of The Father? A Thanksgiving for His love, mercy, and grace, for fulfilling His promise to give the world "the offspring" of Isaac and Jacob/Israel, Genesis 26:4, 28:14, through whom ALL NATIONS ON EARTH WILL BE BLESSED? For giving us His beloved Son?, Who have to suffer for us, to atone for our sins, to lead us back to Him? The Father would be happy that we so appreciated and loved His "gift", His Son. But it's so sad that we forgot Him, the Gift Giver.

Good message but I have never forgotten the days my children were born. Those are special days. I am sure Mary and Joseph always remembered how special it was to they when Jesus was born. Especially Mary. Why should the celebration of a birth be limited only for the day and year itself, and not every year. There are numerous personal celebrations in life. Marriages. Adoptions. … Not knowing the exact date Jesus was born is no reason not to make it special. ; whichever date is celebrated.

What about Herod? The baby Jesus was a threat from the beginning. All the children in the land under 2 years old were slaughtered because of Herods fear of the new born King. ??????? Matthew Chapter 2 "In Ra'ma was there a voice heard, lamentation, weeping, for her children, and would not be comforted, because they were not." Matthew 2:18 Read the whole chapter. "Where is He that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him." Matthew 2:2 Read Matthew 2:16 😢

My heartbreaking side is WILL you be able to change your son’s birthday to a pagan gods birthday instead, and celebrate his birthday with pagans nonsense. Just asking?

Jesus is the Son of God, he is not God the Father. God gave his only begotten Son he didn’t become the Son. Jesus is the anointed one of God, the Messiah is Christ the Lamb of God! Read your Bible.

If Wilkerson had a sword Jesus was reffering to, and if he did try to have a friendly relationship with the Saviour, then Wilkerson would have known what Jesus thinks about celebrating birthdays. Plus Wilkerson would have known about fall lambing.

At the Lambing Tower, I forget the name outside Bethlehem a ways- they wrapped the lambs in swaddling too ! Be not decieved , but Be Ye Separate from the world, it's cultures customs & fables. Have you studied to show yourself approved unto Abba Father God?? Even the 1st Pilgrims / Puritans did no such thg. as celebrating a holiday- not a Holy Day. Only a "Remnant"( as in a v sm.piece of cloth!!!) will be saved Be ye separate from this world- cosmos, not the Kingdom of God . Study& pray you'll see & know too.

Christmas was always about materialism. The fact that it's been exacerbated in a modern, capitalistic society doesn't mean the nature of Christmas changed over the centuries. When the Romans celebrated it, exchanging gifts was always part of the festivities. It's no different today. Ppl celebrate it only because they're expecting gifts.
