Writing it as if there were more than one group even though this is the only one” and when I saw that there was a group B I was like “ahhh, now it makes sense so the top 2 places of each team are going to the semi finals” and then group C comes out and I’m like “holy guacamole. WCT is surpassing my highest hopes”

Ha - yeah, this is by far the biggest competition we've done so far. Usually we have 8 teams with 7 matches. WCT USA had 16 teams and 36 matches so still got a long way to go!!!

​@@frederickfritzsche97 ​, the entire WCT USA happened in the span of a few days in October of 2020, aired on NBCSN from November to December (but only showed the highlights from all matches), but now on KZbin : ALL chases from EVERY match in the tournament are uploaded for everyone to watch on a weekly basis from January through May 2021.

agreed, we've got those types of tags before but most if not all have been accidental. people seem to be learning about that opening , soon enough using the poll for stability or momentum might end up becoming a downfall for many, good stability will end up as a risk instead. people better start learning how to quick cut corners or redirect with no grips it seems, that's going to be interesting to say the least. also i can already see so many people in the future not going for the stability grab and attempt a cut to end up falling out of the ring do to momentum. but like alwase as the sport grows more and more things and styles will come to light and thats one of the thing that makes wtc so fascinating.

great performance by empire this match, they just took the lead 1st round and hub couldn't really do much about it. a bit of a 1 sided game but there were some great chases. there was an interesting fake that didn't work round 3 when reaper was round by the loading bay, I'm interested on seeing if that is going to be used again by empire and if it's going to work

Wow! Honestly wasn't expecting a reply from the man himself! I have to ask though, why did you turn left instead of right at the end? The chaser followed you along the front line, so when you cut across the quad, the only logical routes he could take were either a) to follow your route or b) to cut to the inside; since going the long way around the of tilted cube would put an obstacle between you. As a result, it should've been a no-brainer for you to go right since that was the only option that was guaranteed to be safe. I do understand, though, that there's barely any time to make decisions when you're being chased down, so you didn't have time to think this through; and after going over the clip a couple times, I actually noticed the little kick you gave right before you landed in the cube. It looked really panicky, almost as if you slipped off the bar or something. Anyway, it was an entertaining match, and I'd like to thank you for participating in this beautiful sport. Good luck in your next match against No Cap!

No, ALL the group matches (i.e. 24 in total) took place in one day!!! We wanted to make a BTS but COVID made it very difficult because no one person could go to all the different areas of the venue. We did shoot some BTS stuff though so we'll see what we can do!

Wow, disappointed in Hub PTC's performance here. It boggles my mind why they threw Evan in first. Dominic, Sparsha, or Jeremiah would have been the people I wanted to go twice. I feel many mistakes were made during this match. Choosing wrong path, trying too hard to confuse opponent, or changing direction too early. Many tags could be avoided if evader pay more attention to chaser. Not bad match, but lack of smoothness of some sort. Hand tag was cool though :)

APK Blue vs Team Empire is the only 3rd-round match that matters here. No Cap is moving on for sure at this point, and HUB PTC is too far behind to advance.

@@dominicchavez2913 Yes. As the standings are now, No Cap has 5 points, APK Blue and Team Empire each have 3, and HUB PTC has just 1. Since APK Blue will be facing Team Empire, only one team can possibly score more than 1 point in the final round of Group C, but No Cap is 2 points ahead, so they're guaranteed to move on. Meanwhile, HUB PTC can get 3 points with a win, but in order to advance, they would need both APK Blue and Team Empire to score at most 1 point each, which is impossible since they will be playing against each other, and in every match, one team scores at least 2 points. (I should mention that I'm not referring to evasion points, which are used as a tiebreaker, but rather "standings" points, which are distributed as follows: 3 for a win in normal play, 2 for a win in sudden death, 1 for a loss in sudden death, and 0 for a loss in normal play.)
