We took this video to show you how to remove the Rear Bumper Cover on a BMW X3 E83 in case that you need to replace it or install a Hitch Receiver on your car. You will not even need to remove the rear tires but if you want more room you might do that. Once you know what you are doing it should take you about 5 Minutes. It will be the same procedure for 2004 BMW X3 AND 2005 BMW X3. From 2006 - 2010 you will have 4 BOLTS on under the plastic cover that is on top of the bumper. In this case you will need to remove the whole cover not just the corner pieces.
Other than that it is the same for all Models BMW x3:
