Mac, the evolution of your Arabic makes me super happy - the language is very difficult, the fact that you've learned so much is a testament to your will to learn and Mabelle being an awesome teacher! Loving this Qatar series!

Excellent series so far Mac. Great that you have decided to go to Qatar 🇶🇦. Mostly people think of the Middle East as Dubai UAE 🇦🇪. So far Qatar seems a really nice holiday destination. I’m sure Qatar will be a great host if the FIFA World Cup next month😀

Great Cheers to You Mac Bro. Not many travel or even food vloggers visit other Gulf Countries besides Dubai. Its a myth that there is only UAE in Gulf but kiddos to You for showing the real and modern Qatar. Obviously Qatar has the highest GDP in the world so it is a well developed nation. Many Thanks. Also fan of your speaking languages. Having grip on Arabic and Urdu makes it easier for you to navigate in Middle East and South Asian Countries.
@worldnomac2 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much Mustansir! I really appreciate this comment! Doing my best to show each country and the amazing sides to it. The Gulf is very beautiful so I am hoping to make a series in Qatar and Oman because they are both very nice countries! It is a lot of fun to learn the langauges and not enough foreigners try and learn Arabic and Urdu specifically so the locals appreciate it even more when you drop a few words in the local language throughout the conversations!
@mush31792 жыл бұрын
@@worldnomac WoW. I'm already enjoying and anxiously for your next vlog of Qatar Series. Will be looking forward for Oman Series too. Btw you mentioned in your vlog that you will be visiting Nepal in Nov so I hope you travel to Nepal after visiting Oman. Also the more you speak words of local language or even wear local clothing, the locals feel very much proud and more honoured that how you are learning their local language to blend in and mix in their culture and language. Also Many Appreciation for the Comment Heart. Taie Care Bro.

loved it. thank you for sharing dear, souq waqif is a haggling market and its seems that you are a quick learner, usually what what we do when the sellers purpose a price we offer a counter offer which is usually half of what they offer and we haggle it down from their price, to the one what we both agree on, or we can just move to the next shop as you noticed most of the shops in the same district offer the same items. cheers buddy.

oh one more thing towards the back side of the market with the lonely tree 18:15 is where you can find some traditional Qatari cheap dishes after 5 pm.

7:48 WOW!!! You're really learning for real bro!! 22:30 "bas mish mostaheel" You're not messing around at all!! I'm REALLY impressed!! You're intelligent bro! FYI the 2 hardest languages to learn are Arabic and Mandarin. It's like a tie. Some said Arabic is the hardest because of the grammar and how letters shape-shift and other stuff. So if you learned Arabic, fully, it would be a seriously impressive accomplishment that you should be proud of. I was born in Los Angeles and then I moved to Jordan when I was about 6 or 7 years old (long story) and I HAD to learn this s***!! I hated my life then and kept asking my dad "When are we gonna go back home" I went to school there and my nick name was "white boy" lol. I can speak it and write it fluently. Well eventually I returned to the States when I was 17 and went back for a few years then back to the States for good. I have a secret that can exponentially expedite learning any language but I won't write it here. I'd only tell it to you in private lol 23:02 you see the two marks on your hand? I have the same two marks in the SAME spot!!! And I'm wearing a similar bracelet but on ;my other wrist! It's a Harley Davidson's bracelet though lol oops broke my promise!! Bro it's like a sausage fest over there, I wouldn't be able to do it.

Some parts in Doha looks deserted and not too many people walk around. I am sure when the Fifa World Cup starts it will be crowded. The ice cream was expensive. Lebanon is now cheaper for foreign tourists. Your Lebanese accent is getting better each day (thanks to talented teacher, Marbelle)! The original Al-Hallab, known for its best Lebanese sweets since 1881, is a must to visit when you are in Tripoli, Lebanon. You missed it last time, but Harry and Fouad went there. Al-Halab must have opened a new branch in Qatar. Thanks Mac for showing Qatar for viewers.

This area is usually very crowded. Like really crowded. From May until end of October people start pouring a little bit before sun set as it is really hot during the day. Also if he is doing it in the middle of the week the same applies as the majority are still at work/school. Add to that most shops operate between 8:00-12:00 then take a break and operate again between 16:00-22:00.
