ORIGINAL NASI LEMAK JUST THIS Recipe for 1) Nasi Lemak - How to cook - coconut rice -ingrt - Beryani Rice (6 cups) + Coconut Milk (from 2 coconut)+ Salt (1 tsp) + Fenugreek (1 tsp) + a few slice ginger + shallot (4 cut into wedges) + lemongrass (2 stick) + screwpine leaves (3 pcs) 2) Sambal - How to cook sambal - blended ingrt- dried chilli (1/2 cup chiili flakes) + shallot (15) /bombay onion (3 big) + garlic (4 cloves) + belacan (shrimp paste) (1" thick) + tamarind juice (assam jawa) Seasoning - Sugar (2 tbsp) + Salt (1 tsp) + Oyster sauce (1 tbsp) (all to taste) 3) The above is main with side dishes - hard boiled eggs, cucumber (slices) , peanut (deep fried), anchovies (deep fried) Optional - deep fried chicken, chicken rendang and etc. But i recommended just deep fried chicken or deep fried seafood will be suitable because the NASI LEMAK already have sambal by itself.
