What a wonderful privilege to be able to get such amazingly good foods for affordable prices. I live in the US on the East Coast and there isn't anything like that here. We have so much food insecurity in my area and a lot of people are eating less than adequate diets because food is often too expensive to buy a balanced diet.

It is definitely a privilege for sure! It is such a great scheme for struggling people/families and saving food waste. Im sorry to hear that for people in your area, its becoming a growing concern more and more these days in the UK too. I thought toogoodtogo app was in the US, do you guys have the OLIO app there at all? More restaurants should be more resourceful with their food waste, it will go a long way to help those in need 100%

It was really nice! Still warm aswell which was good. Alot of the meat ones sell out quicker as its the same price as veggie but more value for your money i suppose

We have one Chinese restaurant that does it in our town and that’s it. 😂😭 and they say take your own container but my anxiety won’t let me because I don’t know how many or what size or anything

Wow, that sounds exciting. It is awkward when you first go to collect your first bag I'm not gonna lie lol. I would take a couple of those plastic containers of a lunch box size from B & M. I joined the toogoodtogo facebook group and someone has a local chip shop that does it and they always get HUGE amounts.. You should give it a go! If you do, let me know how it went and how much you got for the price :) Shame you only have 1 place local to you though
